Great Hosts… Property Unfinished
Plenty of space! The upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely. A big appreciation for allowing dogs on this property - a fantastic fenced in area for our furry friends. We really enjoyed living room and kitchen area as a family. The hot tub was great and we’re sure the pool would be fabulous in the summer. The communication with the host was great and very responsive. This property is a great option for big families!
The problem for us was the basement. Three of the bedrooms are located there. One does not have a door. There’s two bathrooms, only one had a shower/bath which drained incredibly slowly. There were open cutouts in the drywall, an unfinished divider wall, and a closet door was falling out of the track. We had elderly family members who tripped against the 2x24 on the floor in the unfinished wall. There was a lot of dust and hair on the floors and baseboards. We couldn’t find outdoor garbage can for the dog or kitchen waste. The dishwasher leaked. Overall, it has great potential… but it just wasn’t what we were expecting for the price and photos.
When renos are finished, we suspect this will be a great place to stay.
