Remarkable, memorable and cozy
My parents, sister and I all traveled to Kansas City to visit with my daughter. This is by far the best VRBO we've stayed in. The property was lovely, we loved spending time in the hot tub (even in the snow!!)! There was plenty of room to accommodate all of us and the kitchen was dreamy! And there were plenty of blankets to keep us nice and cozy! The owners were very communicative and wonderful to work with. We'll absolutely stay here again next time

Comfortable guest cottage
The 3 bedroom, 2 bath, cottage was perfect for us. It was spacious and very well equipped for our brief stay. Everything was accessible and clean. Will definitely keep in mind for future visits.

Needs work
So the place has a good location but really lacked in cleanliness and comfort. Found dog poop on the floor in one of the bedrooms and the mattresses are not the most comfortable. Several things were broken or in need of repair. Old living room furniture really dated the space.

Overall this property was okay. However, the couch needs to be replaced and new TV in the front room. The entire place seemed to be the old hammy downs and hodgepodge of left overs. The place was also unorganized but we were able to manage.

keurig coffee did not work so we went to starbucks$$$ did get different one next day kitchen floor was sticky in front of fridge and tons dust on ceiling fans in bedroom AND over kitchen island No toaster. had brought stuff to toast!!

Interesting Stay
The host was responsive and the house was okay. I was a little taken aback by some of the house rules like laundering our own towels before leaving. It was farther out and more rustic than I expected or I’m accustomed to, but we had a pleasant experience.

Good location, quiet, but not very clean
Beds and bedding not good. Sheets were either stained or dirty, hard to tell. Box spring had large stain around bottom with mold. Mold in guest shower. Dust on ceiling fan. Needs to be professionally cleaned between stays and new sleeping conditions. Extra towels in laundry room smelled like they sat damp in the wash too long.

Family Celebrations
The kitchen was very well stocked with a blender, a mixer, coffee maker, a good amount of pots and pans. The dining room was large enough for a family sit down dinner And the living room had plenty of seating. The only recommendation is that the furniture be updated, Some of the dining room chairs had springs hanging down or arms that were not attached, The living room couch was fallen on the side of the recliner and the pullout couch in the living room was missing some springs and not usable on 1/2 of the bed. On site parking is limited, However, there is a sports bar just down the road with a large parking lot so this was not an issue for us. I would definitely rent and utilize this Family size home for my next family get together.

Great Host
5 night stay and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Host was very attentive and quick to respond. Keurig did not work, and they quickly offered to fix. Could have been a little cleaner, but honestly we expected what we got because we knew they accepted animals. Everything else was wonderful. Would book again in a second.

Another great stay!
Just completed another great week at Boutique Cottage guest house - always our "go-to" when we're in Missouri to visit family and friends. We love being able to bring our two little Yorkie travel buddies - the perfect place for them to romp and play. The upgraded kitchen and laundry appliances made the stay even more convenient. We didn't get a chance to try out the new hot tub, but hope to during our next visit. As always, the hosts were extremely accommodating, and we always look forward to our trips to MO, knowing we have a great VRBO to enjoy instead of being cramped in a tiny hotel room! Couldn't be happier! Thanks, Bre and Adam!!

Great family get away
We stayed there with family including a 2yr old and infant. The rooms were clean there was plenty of room to play. 2yr old ran around outside. The kitchen was a nice size for cooking. We ate and played games around a good sized table. Furniture had wear and tear but we were okay with that.

Late Christmas
Nice guest house worked well for our extended family to celebrate late Christmas. Is wheelchair accessible which was a necessity for us. Location perfect for us close to Lees Summit.

Please invest in a home inspector to identify / fix property challenges
In 40 years of staying in all types of accommodations we’ve never left a poor review. This property and the poor communication with the property manager compels us to leave one here. My intention was to include the whole text thread for context, but we only have 1,500 characters here. The following is a piece of our text thread after bringing the initial list of challenges to the property manager’s attention. Property manager text @ 7:54 AM: I totally understand I will let my maintenance crew know that you will be leaving and will have them reclean after you leave They should be here around 11am I get that you can’t stay in a disgusting place with your family. Reviews are real Hole in carpet is a floor drain needed for if they is any flooding with ADA complaint home Leak in ceiling spots are from 9 years ago no active mold just old water damage I understand it’s unexceptionable It’s disgusting and you all will need to leave. I wish we could have made it work Our text reply @ 9:26 AM: Hi Bre, We’re out. The towel rack came off the holder in the master bath when the towel was taken off this morning. Just seems like a set screw tightening. The property manager wouldn’t process a partial refund after releasing us though and stopped communicating with us 6 days ago, 5 days before the original check out day, despite multiple attempts from our side.

Quick Family Trip
We met our adult children for Monday Night Football & Pre-Thanksgiving get together! The ease of getting to Arrowhead Stadium was great! We spent all day the following day just hanging out together & this place was perfect! It had everything we needed and was so comfortable! We would highly recommend!

Nice Stay & Great Location
The location was very handy to everything we had to do and to family. We came into town for a wedding and it was close proximity to the wedding venue and meeting with family in Lee’s Summit. The neighborhood was in a very nice community of other homes. Communication with Bre was great. She was very kind and responsive when I messaged her.
