Beautiful relaxing villa. First class food cooked by Dani. Ketut the driver was excellent. He was very patient and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our stay in Jasri
This was our first time in bali for the 3 of us. We really really enjoyed our stay, the villa was small but comfortable, each one with its own bedroom and shower. We decided to go and use the chef Dani for breakfasts and dinners, and the drivers Ketut and Coming to pick up us in the airport and take us on tours everday and the last day to take us back to the airport. We went several different places and visited lots of beautiful temples, waterfalls, coffee plantations, rice plantations, cocoa plantations, beaches, etc. And everything flowed very nice; we also used the services in the villa of Ilo and Cade for massages, facials, etc which was very convenient. I thank all the team in the villa for making our stay so wonderful!!!! For us, this was a little far location, but it was son relaing not being in denpasar, ubut, or seminyang, where everything was caos and lots of traffic. Just being able to be inthe villa having dinner and listening to the waves, and nothing else, was very comforting. Thank you all!!

Lovely getaway from the busy crowds
The villa was in a beautiful row of private houses and gardens very close to Jasri beach. The area is very authentic Bali without the tourist hype. The beach isn’t a swimming beach but has powerful waves and black sand. We enjoyed delicious home cooked meals every day made by the lovely Dani with occasional assistance from her sister in law, Komang. Dani helped us arrange transport whenever we needed it.

This villa was the highlight of our 6 week Bali trip. Dani & team are amazing! Dani cooks delicious meals and keeps the villa spotless. Plus she is the sweetest lady with a heart of gold - I would stay here again just to see Dani! Ketet is best driver, Nengah keeps property beautiful plus he took us fishing. Beach is 5 min walk, beautiful black sand with small area to swim/surf. Cute cafe with awesome view, 10 min walk up beach is Bali Chocolate Factory, delicious! Have to visit for complimentary chocolate tasting session - so good! 2 min is a nice restaurant with yummy food, but I recommend Dani as top Chef! Beds are so comfy, the sala/hammocks are perfect for a lazy afternoon. Like massages? Book in house with Dani or 10 mins to Exo Day Spa for the best Balinese massage (at least that I’ve ever had and I get a lot!) Not super touristy and with car/scooter 15 mins is a busy town with lots of shops and restaurants. Virgin Beach has a stunning new restaurant (village co op) and the area is perfect for snorkelling- we saw turtles, sting ray (very small) and tons of reef fish with beautiful colours! Although apparently these sitings were rare and we got lucky so temper your expectations! Love everything about our stay here - essential for anyone who wants to see the best of Bali!

Traumhaftes Haus mit exzellenter Betreuung durch Dani
Das Haus und der Pool waren sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Bilder spiegeln die Realität, ein kleines Paradies. Wir konnten als Eltern wunderbar entspannen, während die Kinder beim Tauchen in Candidasa waren. Dani hat uns bei allen Fragen weitergeholfen und unterstützt. Besonders waren ihre Kochkünste, die uns einige tolle Essen beschert haben..... Dani, vielen Dank für Dein Verwöhnen, es hat unseren Aufenthalt sehr bereichert. Und auch Danke an Komang, die Dani nicht nur beim Kochen unterstützt hat. Lieber Gruß und hoffentlich bis bald Claudia, Heinz, Micha und Hanna

Die villa Balistar ist eine ruhig gelegene villa. Der Strand ist nicht gerade gut zum schwimmen, die Wellen sind zu hoch . Dass Essen das uns Dani die Köchin und ihre Tochter Jessic jeden Tag frisch zubereitet haben war einfach ein Traum,das frühstück mit den frisch zubereitete Früchten war toll

Awesome place to be
This house is excellent! We spent a week there with our family of five. It is a sanctuary located beautyfully amidst other similar villas, mostly of Dutch ownership. The concierge and private chef Dani is superfriendly and cooks the most delicious meals. Ketut the driver is hard to beat in his friendlyness, local knowledge and just the right kind of reserved attitude, totally respecting clients wishes. All in all the best house we had in Bali (in a total of three different houses). Highly recommended!

Villa très bien entretenue avec un personnel très professionnel
Nous avons passés un très bon séjour dans cette villa avec une prestation de service de très bonne qualité. La villa est située en bord de mer et au coeur de la vie balinaise rythmée des cérémonies Hindouistes. Dani notre cuisinière pendant notre séjour nous a préparé chaque jour des plats différents et raffinés de la cuisine Balinaise. Ketut notre transporteur nous à fait profiter de sa culture et ses connaissances de l'île lors de nos visites de sites remarquables. Nous recommandons vivement cette villa, Dani et Ketut à ceux qui souhaitent un coin tranquille au sein d'une vie locale.

Super villa, super location and great and happy staff
We had a wonderful week here. The facilities were great and the staff wonderful. Although we did eat out occasionally we always looked forward to Dannis cheerful smile and wonderful local food. While the pool was not large it was ideal to come back to after a hot day sightseeing. Ketut drove us everywhere taking us to some wonderful places and made these places come alive with his knowledge. He was also very patient in answering all our questions about local life and customs. The holiday was enhanced by lovely weather, interesting places, especially the Palaces, great people and good food The villa is great value for money and we would highly recommend it. Any trip to the villa will be greatly enhanced by the staff.we would return again if we had the resources! Thanks again for a great stay

Het was heel aangenaam om hier in dit huis in Bali te verblijven. Heel rustig. De kookkunsten van Dani, missen we nu al terug in thuisland. Ketut bracht ons naar leuke plekken in Bali met een vleugje humor. Een fantastisch verblijf !

Villa Balistar is fantastish
Deze villa heeft alles wat je maar kan wensen aan alles is gedacht tot in de kleinste details. Ook de staf is geweldig en wij hadden all-in geboekt en het eten was fantastisch. Kennis gemaakt met de eigenaresse dat vonden we ook heel fijn dan heb je even een gezicht naast het vele mail verkeer dat we hadden en ook altijd beantwoord werd. Kortom een villa die we zeker kunnen aanraden voor mensen die van rust houden maar de zee van dichtbij kunnen horen ruisen en fijn kunt wandelen. Als we in de gelegenheid zijn zullen we hier zeker nog eens terug komen. met vriendelijke groeten Louis en Fetsje Viane uit Friesland/Nederland.

Beautiful place away from the crowded touristy areas - the real Bali experience!
We absolutely loved this place as it is away from the crowded touristy areas and represents the "real" Bali! We loved the style of the house and the beautifully maintained garden. The pool is perfect to relax or cool down during the day and the patio with sea view is awesome. With the very friendly staff caring for us and spoiling us with amazing breakfast and dinner we really had wonderful time. The beach that is in front of the house is perfect to watch local life - Balinese ceremonies, busy fishermen and surfers. The famous and beautiful White Sand Beach is only a short drive away. We visited the Water Palaces nearby, a couple of temples, Amed (good snorkeling!) and will never forget the boat trip with Nengah (one of our highlights!). It is easy to get a scooter or one of the local mini busses arranged. For longer daytrips we met Ketut driving us around in his spacious air-conditioned car, a perfect guide who speaks great English and gave us a lot of interesting information about Bali. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place!
