"Such an amazing week. Thanks to Tanya, our attentive and helpful host, my two kids (and our lab!) and I enjoyed our time. The cottage is well appointed, clean, pet friendly, with rooms accommodate everyone and a gorgeous outdoor space. We took a polar bear swim (late october!) and we're all looking forward to enjoying the cottage and lake next summer. No question, this will be our go to cottage in the Kawartha's. Thanks, Tanya!"

"My friends and I were happy to see that the cottage was as advertised - had plenty of space with four clean bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, functional a/c, etc. We were also pleasantly surprised at the extra items we could use, such as extra cooking oil, board games, and large floaties! However, we wished there had been some mention of how pervasive the seaweed is throughout the water for swimming, and that there had been a bit more communication answering our questions about check-in....

"It has everything one could need - it is just small - nothing deceptive about the online description at all. Quiet with a truly lovely road across the street that I walked down at least three times every day I was there with the dogs - never did see a house - met a nice fellow on a bicycle and two cars, both of which stopped while I leashed the dogs. "The children enjoyed their time at the cottage. There's enough activities for everyone to do (kayaking, canoeing, pedal boat. They also have firepit where you can roast marshmallows. The property has an ample space to play freebies, badminton, volleyball and basketball. The cottage is a little outdated but it is spacious. Our overall experience was great. "We enjoyed the cottage! Our host Sherri got in touch to ensure that we had a way to get to the cottage as it’s water access only. We arrived to a neat and tidy place. Swimming off the dock was enjoyed by our youngest who is 4 and our oldest at 17!! Fishing from the dock or picking any location on Ravens lake with either the row boat, canoe or kayak (all provided) was awesome for all of us! The lake is a good size to cruise in the boat and just explore and we also did some tubing. Very friendly...

"The cottage is located on a little lake within the town of Bracebridge. This made getting to and from the Bracebridge Sportsplex very simple. We love the spaciousness cottage.
