A Decent Stay
The property was large and all the amenities such as the hot tub, barbecue, fire pit and pool table were big plusses. We also enjoyed the volleyball ball net. The kitchen was a good size and the heating worked well as well as the Wi-Fi. Lastly, everyone in our 8 person party had a place to sleep.
However, the property could use some upkeep, the dock was slanted and felt unsafe, the front door cannot be used and is blocked by overgrown weeds and shrubbery. The carpet was really dirty, one chair had a burn mark, and the legs were breaking on one of the couches. The listing says that pets are allowed but a follow-up email says that you will be charged a cleaning fee if there is fur on the furniture, that said, we weren't charged. The rooms are really small and the mattresses are really hard or so soft that you can feel the bed frame underneath. There was no window covering in one of the rooms, and the sofa in the separate unit was filthy under the cushions. A nice place, but it should really be more properly maintained.
