"The cottage was perfect for our overnight needs. The kitchen was modern, clean and well-stocked. The bedrooms were comfortable and we loved eating a home-cooked meal on the deck. The night bugs were out when the sun went down so we didn’t spend time on the porch after dinner. The water views were lovely - we just wish we had more time to swim! "From the moment we drove in Kawhia bay and stepped onto the balcony we were in heavon! The Bach had everything we needed, we were able to bbq every night, the kitchen was well equipped, large fridge to stock our food and drinks (note there are no local shops so you need to bring what you need - closet general store is 15 min drive). Bed was super comfy and the open kitchen and living area that opened on to balcony looking over the bay was fantastic. The large dining table was great to not only...

"The size of the room exceeded my expectations. Really lovely property, nice outlook, covered verandah for socialising, really nice owner. Wish there was a bit more cooking facilities, ie electric hob, but the owners were great about it and offered a microwave and there is a BBQ you can use. Highly recommend!"
