"We enjoyed our stay in Cabin 1. It is the first cabin located right next to the beach and fire pit. There is a private dock which was great for fishing and the water was clean. Ron the property manager was helpful whenever we had questions and he was up early in the morning to clean the water of weeds and rake the beach. We we first arrived, the cleaner was just finishing up as they had a group leave earlier that morning. Overall the place was very clean, though the towels were not the best...

"The property is beautiful and the inside looks nice but that’s where the positive ends. Upon arrival at 4:00 we could not enter because there was a cleaner there still cleaning. Upon entry, a half hour later, the floors were soaking wet and slippery. The garbages were not empty in the bathrooms. The bedding was not freshly laundered. "We were excited about our stay at Rice Lake! But the house had a few problems and it made our stay less enjoyable. The small A/C unit is located in the living room area and not in the bedrooms. So every night was hot, and unable to cool the rooms properly. Second problem was the washer failed on the 2nd day of our stay and the owners did not fix the problem.
