"Paul was very easy to work with prior to trip and a delight in person. The converted barn has all the ingredients for a restful retreat nestled in a beautiful farm looking out over Cheddar and surrounds. We had a great time with hosts that got the balance right between friendly and helpful and leaving us to do our own thing. Would be back in a flash if Australia wasn’t so far away. "

"The property was amazing , true to its pictures . Immaculate and had everything you needed for a great weekend . Plenty of towels , crockery and toiletries. Hot tub and swimming pool were nice and clean . The host , Karen , was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her . The late checkout on a Sunday was a great bonus . We will defo be returning ."

"This is a great place to stay. Very well made, really nicely done and in a great location. Hot tub was lovely and perfectly situated outside the patio door from the bedroom. Very impressed. Really clean and well maintained. Close to plenty of locations such as the cheddar gorge and weston supermare. Scenery is fantastic and very peaceful. Made to feel welcome. Loved it."

"Comfortable house stay, we used as a 1 night stopover on way to Cornwall. It's not particularly scenic, being at the end of an unloved housing estate. The property is clean and practical, but could do with a few tidying up jobs doing. I haven't had to pay a deposit on any other holiday accommodation we have stayed in, it was refunded to us. "

"Relaxing and quiet location. The property was as listed and we were very comfortable during our stay. Little touches like Christmas tree and pint of milk were welcome. Despite the typical British weather the property’s location allowed us to explore the local area such as Cheddar Gorge and Wells. Would thoroughly recommend Berrow beach-quiet and dog friendly! We loved the view out across the fields."

"We couldnt have asked for anything better. The home was fantastic. Was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. Beautiful location with lovely sunset views. The owners Paul and Jill were perfect hosts. So friendly and on hand if needed. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back for another visit."

"The hotel is situated on the sea front . The main problem this time, was that the lift was not working. We had a room on the 4th floor and at 75 years of age the climb was rather taxing. Our luggage was taken up for us , and brought down at the end of the stay . Good breakfast and although we did not eat dinner here, the menu looked good . Staff helpful under the circumstances. They obviously found the situation challenging as there are a lot of older people staying there. "

"Good value for money! Only a 10 minutes’ drive from Cheddar Gorge. A bit dated but it's understandable as an old hotel. Staff are amazing, super friendly and always available Facilities are super fabs! with gym, sauna, steam and pool.
