"Lovely place to spend a few days the owner is really friendly and helpful. Had a great time. Owner even returned a ring we left in the property. Meals provided were excellent and everyone enjoyed them and we really enjoyed the hot tub / sauna. Highly recommended "

"We had a week’s stay at Orton Hall in Nell Gwyn Cottage. The front room and bedroom were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped, but it all felt a bit dated. The grounds were lovely, but unfortunately it rained every day we stayed there, so we couldn’t really explore them. However, we did discover a chocolate factory in the village which we very much enjoyed, as well as a very tasty cafe for a full English breakfast nearby. "There are only 3 pods, which protects the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The view is exceptional and a place to truly relax. The pods offer a good standard of living space with a lovely hot shower and a really comfortable bed. The local sheep add an interesting intro to being in the countryside and lovely to watch. The pod is reached by a narrow single track road but this didn’t cause us any difficulties. The location is great for getting most places in the Dales. We will definitely be back. "

The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. "We stayed for two weeks at The Bothy. We used it as a base to explore the Dales. We enjoyed seeing the local sights and villages. There are numerous sites to visit within one hour’s drive. "Steve was a fabulous host and really went out of his way to make our stay a memorable one.We arrived to the beautiful Orchard View Cottage in horrendous weather and we’re super happy to see how gorgeous Orchard View was.
