"The rooms at the Rainbow Lodge are undergoing a significant upgrade. As we arrived, they were just re-hanging the door to our bathroom. Charles, the manager, does a great job of managing the work, and we were very comfortable with the accommodations. Our room was freshly painted, with new linen on the bed and blackout curtains on the windows. It also looked like we had a new microwave and minifridge. "To say this is a fabulous colonial-style farmhouse would be an understatement. The entire property is wonderful, and the main house is magnificent as you drive in. The kitchen literally took my breath away, as did the master suite. All of the rooms are great, and so many spaces to hang out in. The hosts were so gracious, we luckily were there in tomato and basil season, and they left some for us to cook with. Highly recommended!"

"Just what we wanted…a place to relax with a lake view. The deck is as described…perfect views of the lake, sunrise and the moon. There is no way off of it, so it was great for the dog as well. The sitting arrangements of sofas is also great…can be together but doing separate things- two people worked a puzzle while the other two watched a movie. Kitchen is sparse, and absolutely nothing other than salt and pepper, so plan on getting spices, cooking oils, aluminum foil, etc. There is a Safeway...

"The owner, Karen, made us feel so welcome like it was our own home for 4 days. The house was spotless and so much space both indoors and our for our 3 generations. 4 little ones spent their time either in the pool, out on the lawns playing ball, playing board games at the kitchen table or watching TV in the family room. The house is so comfortable, the views incredible and 5 minutes into Healdsburg. Thank you Karen for your hospitality."
