Wonderful Summer Vacation
The property was beautiful and located right on the river. Amazing views and very clean with private beach access just as described. We had a wonderful relaxing time and enjoyed great fishing right front the backyard. The host was also very helpful with answering any questions. We can’t wait to go back again!

Beautiful house right on the river!
As mentioned by others, the actual experience is so much better than what you see in the photos!! Fishing right from the back of the house is amazing and watching rafters float by while relaxing out back was super enjoyable for the whole family! Can’t wait to visit again!

Wonderful
We loved the place as we walked in. Perfectly located on the river, with 2 balconies that overlook the river. The house has private beach. We enjoyed our stay and definitely will be renting in spring or summer. Hause was clean and full of everything to make you feel home. Great communication with the host.

Wonderfull Stay in Kernville
We stayed at the Riverfront property in Kernville over the Christmas holidays with my 2 daughters and our dog. What a wonderfull place. Clean, modern, great location and stunning views and river acces. Close to the town for all your needs. Will definitely book this property again when visiting the area.

River side retreat
Our family had a wonderful stay here. The river/beach access can't be beat, caught some fish and the kids hads a great time playing in the sand. The home was well kept and the owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely stay on Kern River
The house is a single level house within a neighborhood with a private beach on the Kern River. The stairs down to the beach are somewhat steep, so the house wouldn’t be a good fit if you had a immobile person with you. But dogs are allowed with approval, which was great for us. My son caught many fish right off the property. Across the river from the house is a campground but there was no disturbance from it. The parking area in front was ample. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this rental.

Family with a dog
We are a family of three and a dog. Our son is 12 but has a disability. He loves the water. We really enjoyed our stay. We loved the layout of the apartment and it was neat and clean with just the right amount of stuff. Access to the river was easy and we spent each evening by the river. Internet access even near the River was great! Our dog had a good time too. We will surely come back to this property the next time we visit. We also let some close family friends know about the property.

One of a kind Waterfront home that exceeds the most discriminating taste!
I invited a few friends for a weekend rafting trip at kernville and my choice of this property made me look like genius with my friends . The property is located on one of the best stretches of the river, with tasteful touches that begin as you enter through the gates into the long driveway, walk into a cool air condiioned home after s long drive! The owner spared no expense in adding every little touch to make our stay a memorable one! We enjoyed having everything we needed in this home and loved the private beach The manager was friendly, professional and very accomedating. We are already planning our next trip.

Amazing river house
This house is the place to stay if your heading to the kern river! It has the most amazing view when you walk in directly over the river and right into nature. The highlights are definitely the balconies that overlook the river and the immediate river access just below the house. We went with family ranging in age from 2-68 and it was great for all! House was clean and owner had great communication 😀

Spectacular Property
The pictures don’t do this home justice. It is so awesome to walk into a home and it’s more beautiful than you imagined. It is very clean and comfortable. Beds were all comfy. The location on the river is absolutely stunning. Beach towels provided and cooking basics available in home (spices, oil, etc) Our family of six had space to hang out, play games (many provided) and enjoy relaxing time watching the water go by. I hope we have the privilege to stay at this home again!

Kern River Hide Away
Beautiful property located on the bluffs above the Kern River. Secluded, quiet and a fabulous neighborhood. The house is very clean, spacious and well appointed with everything you normally don’t see in rental properties. My family is very impressed with this property and we all had a great time. I highly recommend this offering.

Rapid Decompression
To explain - this accommodation is a great place to decompress and just relax. The river's rapids are literally just below the home and lull you to sleep every night. Kernville is a quaint town to explore and its shop owners are nice. If what you are looking for is a unique setting, a comfy home, and a place to share with friends or family over fine meals and nature, you can't go wrong with this excellent getaway.

Best stay ever!
We had the best stay at this property. My husband and I traveled with my parents, our infant and our pup. The home was cozy, well organized and had comfortable bedding and other furnishings. Art was thoughtful enough to have toys and pack n play for our baby and food bowls for our pup. Kitchen was well equipped. The check in and check out process was very quick and easy. The garage was spacious and very clean and can easily park 2 cars. The driveway and front yard was well maintained as well. Needless to say, the highlight of this property are the decks facing the river and the mountains, and the private access to the river. The location provided a lot of calm and peace during our stay. We caught sunrise there, watched the ducks swim in the river and even spotted a family of deer across the river. Our dog had a blast running around the river bank and drinking water from there. We will definitely visit this home away from home again. Thank you for the wonderful stay 🙏🏽
