"Breakfast was awesome, nice bath with views to Mt Hakodate. Staff however struggled to understand my limited japanese. English is out of the question so if you dont know any Japanese at all you might have a hard time asking to make reservations at restaurants, making changes to orders etc. But Overall it is a nice place"

"A great place to stay with a very kind and helpful staff! Not much noise in the area at all and it’s only two or three blocks away from where the local commuter train stop is. So it was very easy to get around town on foot and to and from the train station on the commuter rail. I would love to come visit again sometime soon!"

"New property, clean roomy room. Great , friendly staff Just couple of restaurants near by , 7- eleven and tram stop about 7-10 min. walk. Need to take tram / taxi to Hakodate station. Red brick warehouse shops and Hakodate ropeway about 10 min walk."

"The Annex is way better than the other one which is older and has gone downhill. This one is beautiful in a Japanese retro and romantic way fitting to Hakodate. Plenty of yeasts and snack services, 3 private baths besides the big bathing areas, fabulous breakfast with fresh everything, even bubbly and sake!! Our room was spacious (premium deluxe) and many thoughtful touches and amenities. We had the dinner plan too. The first night included all you can eat made to order sushi and wagyu shabu...

"ゴールデンウィークに小学生の子供連れ家族3人で宿泊しました。ゴールデンウィークな上に函館市内でイベント開催の関係でホテル料金が高騰している中、とても良心的な価格で助かりました。 お部屋は、お家の一階をお借りする感じですが、玄関も別で、夜間の外出もできました。 普通のホテルと違って、リビングと寝室があり、広々しているのでゆっくりできました。 アメニティもホテル以上に揃っていて、電子レンジや大きな冷蔵庫、アイロンまであって今度は、長期滞在にも良さそうだなと感じました。 オーナー夫妻は、とてもお人柄が良くアットホームな滞在となりました。"
