It was advertised correctly as 600 s feet I just didn't realize how small that was, my error. No dresser space for clothes and limited closet space. other than that it was a nice getaway, very private and quiet.

Incredible
We loved this place from the moment we arrived. The location is incredible with a secluded beach thats a short ways away. The cottage was fully stocked with everything that we needed especially the kitchen (we love cooking). The water heater broke down one morning and bruce had it fixed super quick (thanks bruce!) The back yard is well maintained and very private. We had such a good time. We hope to return!

Twin Hearts - one of a kind
I can sum up this place and our stay with one word….. Magic It was everything we hoped to experience for our 43rd wedding anniversary. Solitary and private - but not isolated Beautiful interior that is built as an invitation to relax, decor and furniture wonderful. The breeze coming into our bedroom each night was like a tropical lullaby and the occasional rainfall added to the music. The outside yard and landscaping- well it felt like we were alone in a gentle jungle Dozens of flower varieties. Birdsong. Shaded and cool all day. Cute little hot tub which we took advantage of a few nights under the scudding clouds and moon and palm trees was wonderful Location was perfect. Minutes away from Hanalei and Princeville, botanical gardens, and eateries. We walked to Quarry Beach several times to watch the sun go down in quiet reverence Bruce very was cordial and helpful, a low key landlord ready to help but astute enough to give us all the space we needed If you want an experience and not a condo, an adventure not a crowded resort ….this is the place. Exquisite, peaceful, cozy, efficient cottage
Absolutely amazing. The owners are great. The property is beautiful. Its an oasis within itself. A cute little beach within minutes where you can swim in the ocean or in a cool pristine river. Well worth the stay.

Wonderful experience
We had a great relaxing time in this private cabin hideaway! So much better than a hotel room in one of those “resorts”. If you like relaxing in your own private place, then this is for you. Only negative was the weather, (a Kona low, bringing flooding rains) which kept us off the beaches for a few days.

Secluded jungle cottage
The bungalow has everything you could ever need. Its secluded and quiet (except for the ever present Kauai roosters) and private. You can walk to the most spectacular secluded beach, where you can surf big waves and there's a place for kids to play in the gentle water. Bruce was a lovely host and his property and farm are glorious. I highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Bruce’s farm! Photos don’t do it justice. We loved being situated in Kilauea for all of our activities. Bruce was a helpful and communicative host. Would definitely return!

Paradise
Bruce has done an amazing job of creating an oasis on the farm. Twin Hearts is tucked away and feels surprisingly private. The setting, the location, the whole vibe makes for a wonderful stay!

Paradise Hideaway
Amazing little place that gives the feeling of being secluded in tropical garden yet is close to many activities. Short walk to local beach for those days you want to take it easy and stay close to home. Easy access to Princeville and beaches on the north shore. Host is very welcoming and has a wealth of knowledge about the island.

Gorgeous North Shore Stay
My husband, infant son and myself booked a last minute trip to the island and were lucky enough to swoop up an opening on Bruce and Cyndee’s calendar. Communication was great, and Bruce offered us a rental which was perfect for our stay (and a hot commodity given rates and availability on Kauai). He also personally shuttled us to and from Lihue for a fee which was both informative and convenient. The property is gorgeous as many have stated. Thoughtfully done, and matches the overall vibe of the island with proper amenities to boot. In the home, we enjoyed the gecko visitors and were definitely loved by the bugs (but that was all expected for the climate). We do appreciate the low-toxic grounds! It is a short distance to markets and restaurants, and a little drive to more touristy spots. The beach/lagoon down the street was perfect for us. Bruce had a ton of other great recommendations too. The space was overall excellent and worked well for our small family. Anyone lucky enough to stay at the cottage will love the local feel and aesthetic. Highly recommend.

Great first experience on Kauai
This is a wonderful property for a couple or small family. We were surrounded by natural beauty - trees, flowers, wildlife… there is an amazing beach with a neat little lagoon just a 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive away. It’s super close to a lot of cool things on the North side of the island (hiking, beaches, dining, shopping, even a national wildlife refuge). I’m glad we finally got to visit, and when we do visit again I will be checking this property first. Mahalo!

Private Farmstay Retreat
We stayed here 3 weeks and used it as a writer’s retreat and as a base from which to go snorkeling and sight seeing . Anyone visiting Kauai and living in rural lodgings needs to get used to roosters crowing at 4:30 am, geckos inside and out , lawns being mowed, and mosquitos. We did but it took some time. There is no a/c but there was usually a lovely breeze and the cottage is well-shaded. Loved sitting in the hot tub while looking at the amazing star-filled night sky . The cottage really has everything you need for a great vacation, including great hosts !

Magical property
The photos in this listing don't do justice to the beauty of the place. The cabin is just beautifully appointed. Amazing woodwork and furnishings. It's private, while on the property of a wonderful organic family farm. We enjoyed the hot tub, the porch, walks to the beach and the sounds of birds as well as the cheers of the weekly softball game. The town is wondeful and we ate out a couple of times (felt Covid safe) and cooked on the grill and a little two-burner stove. Comfy, rejuvenating. Couldn't have been better.
