We had a privacy. We were looking for access to a private beach and easy access to food, restaurants and social events around the island. If I come back again, I would reach out and stay one more time. Skipper and Gilligan had the right idea.

The perfect Kauai getaway
Just an incredible property! My wife and 3 kids absolutely loved our stay at skippers! Super clean and just a 5 minute walk to one of the best beaches we visited on the island. Tony is the perfect host! Would definitely stay here again on any future trip to the garden isle!

Amazing Kauai Stay
Just returned from a 7 night stay at this adorable home on Kauai. The 3 queen sized beds were perfect for our 6 adults to sleep comfortably and more than enough space for luggage. The kitchen was fully equipped as we cooked at least one meal a day to stay on budget. I really enjoyed picking and eating fresh avocados, papayas and limes to utilize while we were there. The outdoor shower was great for cleaning the sand off after our nightly stroll down to the quite beach that was truly less than a five minute slow walk. I would absolutely reserve this home again!

Amazing Stay!
Skipper's is everything you want in a rental on Kauai - plenty of room, quiet location, and easy walk to the beach! You'll also be close to fabulous coffee shops and markets (Kilauea is a short trip down the road). The beach is considered a gem in the guide book - you'll see turtles and seals as well as a variety of species of fish by the reef. Tony is a fantastic host and communication is excellent! The house is clean and well stocked with essentials. You'll find plenty of beach supplies in the garage. Not to be missed are night walks on the beach to see the stars. We had an amazing stay and will book again when we return!!

Awesome Time at Skippers Cabana
What an amazing place! I would say the pictures don’t do it justice. It was beautiful, clean and had everything we could possibly ask for. This property is amazing and Tony was so attentive to any questions I had. This was my favorite VRBO I’ve ever stayed at. If you’re having any reservations at all about booking Skippers don’t. You will be so happy you did!

Awesome stay at Skipper’s
We loved this house and it’s location. Perfect spot to home base and relax for our family trip to Kauai. Very clean and well stocked. Great location for quickly reaching north and east side attractions. Enjoyed the “private” community beach. Will return if we have the opportunity to travel to Kauai again in the future.

A little piece of paradise!
I cannot say enough about this property! It was clean, well stocked, clearly labeled, and absolutely delightful. Tony went above and beyond to accommodate our family and our slight vacation snafu. He was responsive and so incredibly kind. The house is perfect for families or groups, and the walk down to the beach is just gorgeous! Book this property- you won’t regret it!

Wonderful property, fabulous beach!
Wonderful! I will be back. The location was perfect to go both directions easily. The beach was lovely for older & younger family members. Tony had great response time & answered many questions. The outside shower......ahhhhh ♡ So many labels to keep you informed. Beds were comfy, kittys were friendly, kitchen & bath excellently stocked. Beach item were so handy and already there. The fresh avocado made amazing guacamole! The fruit trees were fun. Wish the bananas were ripe. We felt bad leaving a full fridge but I hear it will be used! Thank you so much. Mahalo no ka oi!

Total relaxation
This was our 2nd stay in Kauai and our 2nd time to rent from this owner! 1st time in Gilligan with spouse. Loved it so much brought family and stayed at the skipper! Host, Tony, responds quickly, has everything needed at home, price is affordable compared to others and quite honestly I think Moloaa Bay is the best beach on island with a very doable walk from house, great snorkeling, calm waters to swim and even waves to boogie board! We won’t stay anywhere else when we come for vacation! Thanks Tony!

Perfectly Wonderful
The entire experience was wonderful, beginning with making the reservation through the last moments at this hale. The property was clean, so organized and well stocked with some extras that were very much appreciated. Having the beach only a five minute walk away was such a treat, I walked down to watch the sunrise six out of seven mornings and saw no more than five other people each day. Being able to start my morning with that little walk listening to the birds welcome the new day and then see the sunrise was magical. Everyone was very happy and comfortable during our stay. We all enjoyed the outdoor shower... especially the children! My grandchildren love animals and were so happy to see the kitties. Unfortunately, they did get a little overfed when the adults weren't looking! Apologies for that! Jenn, your housekeeper, deserves a shout out for her attention to detail cleaning the house between visitors. Kelli, your gardner, deserves a shout out for keeping the outside looking so beautiful... and getting the fallen banana tree out of the outdoor shower so quickly! LOL I wish the option of 10 stars were available for rating this property! Mahalo nui loa, Tony!!!

Moloa'a Perfection
My wife and I loved our entire stay to say the least, the house was exceptionally clean, very well stocked, and very comfortable. The pictures don't do this home justice, the house itself and the property are amazing. We loved the wide range of fresh fruit available on the property, the short walk to the best beach on the island and the privacy of this rental. Tony was great to communicate with before and during our stay, thanks for everything and we look forward to staying here again!

Absolute Perfect Paradise
Our third stay at Skippers (this stay we had 7 people) was just as amazing as our first, if not better! Tony has provided/shared his secluded tropical paradise! The VRBO listing is spot on.. pictures don’t do it justice. From all the amenities of home & more … plus tons of beach gear for us to use, short easy 5 minute walk to the secluded pristine Moloaa Beach, and easy drive to many other beaches and attractions. Amazing
We had such a great stay! The House was spotless and had everything we could possibly need and more. Tony was so kind, thorough and quickly responsive to all my questions, every time! The property is just magical, with flowers and exotic plants everywhere and obviously taken meticulous care of. -Like a mini botanical garden for us plant lovers. Everyone had a wonderful time.
