"I can’t think of a better place from which to explore the Cairngorms. This property, including our little cottage, is an historical gem. You will have to manage a few tiny comfort issues like no shower, the cushions on the living room furniture were worn to the point you are sitting in the frame, there were spiders (harmless) everywhere. "What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! We never saw any red squirrels but I did see a beautiful jay that was so different from the blue jays we have in the US. I would stay here again in a minute!"

"Loved everything about this property. The house is beautiful and so clean. Amanda had left milk, snacks and the house has some basics to use which is great. The robes, slippers and bathroom products are lovely. Wished we'd stayed longer to enjoy everything about this house."

"We had a great long weekend in Oct/Nov. The village is fantastic with a traditional butcher, farm shop and amazing cafe, all on a lovely high street. A wonderful park across the road which the dog loved. Lots of amazing walks nearby. The flat was cosy and there were some lovely treats on arrival. Great for dog owners too. "

"It was a real treat to arrive here after a long journey. It is a beautiful, modern house in an idyllic setting. We had ample room to spread out and accommodate our large extended family. Everything was spotless. Vinnie showed my sister around and was responsive to all our questions and requests throughout the stay. We will cherish our memories of this house forever! "Lovely peaceful stay at the Wee Snug, really spacious and loved being able to rotate the TV to watch TV in bed and relax! Games were so fun, shower is really powerful. One thing - bed is very soft FYI! Also, we struggled with getting any sort of taxi booking in the evening so I would advise booking ahead of time if you plan to venture to nearby villages etc. and want a couple drinks - we ended up just driving to places and getting takeaway and coming back to have some drinks with dinner instead....

"Beautiful hotel, modern decor, and a comfortable bed. Room was extremely spacious. Felt as though it was missing a sofa or chair as the light was shining on an empty space. TV had sky sports which I was very happy about when we got the back the room and the boxing was on. The lady at the reception when we arrived recommended a nice place local to go eat because when asked if we wanted breakfast, we said no as we are late risers. This was fantastic non-biased customer service "
