"Just WOW! The photos just don't do this house justice. We were completely blown away by the views, the amenities, the quality of all the finishings. Every bedroom is unique but so comfortable. "My family enjoyed this property immensely. A secluded cabin in the woods but with all the comforts of home made everyone happy. My husband enjoyed fishing in the river while the kid explored the shoreline and rock hunted. We made outdoor campfires and s’mores, and snuggled up by the indoor fireplace with books. Be aware it is a long driveway, so any plans out and about take a bit longer. The Food Lion in Millers Creek is about a 20 minute drive. "

"This quaint, small cabin was exactly what my husband & I hoped for on our year-end vacation. It was quiet & perfect for thr two of us! The bed is FIRM so be prepared for that. Its great for those with back issues. Situated just 25min frim downtown Boone & 45min from Bammer Elk, we found it situated just far enough from where we wanted to venture out to dine. The rest of the time, we RESTED! Thank you for such a relaxing stay,we appreciate it!."

"My Sons and I had a wonderful stay at “The Big Rock” property. We woke up to deer eating the crab apples every morning. The large rock is a perfect place to just sit and enjoy the pond and scenery. We caught plenty of bluegill and a few small bass in the pond. There was also a little pontoon and kayak the kids had a blast using. We will hopefully be returning soon. Lance was by far the best Host I have ever encountered. Anything we needed or any question were answered right away.."

"Our family came to Boone to celebrate our daughter's graduation from App State and we stayed at Rustic with a Chef Stove. It was a perfect place for our family! We loved playing games by the fireplace, relaxing in the hot tub and making smores around the fire pit. There were nice personal touches (well stocked coffee bar, smores stuff, welcome note and snacks) upon our arrival. It was a great weekend!"

They have a tankless water heater, which means never running out of hot water from showers. Satellite TV is nice, and the internet works good.
