Awesome stay!

We had a great stay! Our host was very helpful. She even made some delicious brownies. The VRBO was in a convenient location and we really enjoyed exploring the area. It was clean and cozy!

Weekend getaway
Heidi was incredible! My stepson was ready to move to Tennessee as soon as we walked in. We all loved the apartment and all the thoughtfulness that is put into it. We definitely will be coming back!

Dependable and Reliable!
This was our fifth stay at the Blue Door. Each stay is just as nice as the previous one. The kitchen has all of the utensils and supplies we need for our long weekends. The beds are comfortable and everything is neat and clean. We couldn't ask for a nicer home away from home.

NE Tennessee getaway weekend
Close friends wanted to explore the tri-cities of Bristol, Kingsport and Johnson City for possible relocation and we selected the Blue Door for our weekend lodgings. It was perfect as it was located near major highways and the accommodations were immaculately clean, well stocked with essentials for cooking and offering all the amenities you might wish for. A bonus was beautifully landscaped outdoor seating and grilling areas. Heidi was a gracious and charming hostess. I highly recommend The Blue Door if you are staying in the area.

The Blue Door has become our home away from home. This is where we stay every time we go to Kingsport to visit family. The Blue Door is clean and well-equipped. It is in a great location and the owners are terrific people! I highly recommend this family-friendly property!

Wonderful Apartment
Heidi’s communication about check in was detailed and clear. We had no issues finding the property and accessing the apartment. It was bright and very spacious. The apartment was clean. Paper products were stocked (toilet paper, towels). It was exactly as described in the listing. There needs were clean and comfortable. Great location! Lots to do within minutes of the property. We would definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful home away from home
Couldn’t have been any better. Home was wonderful, perfect location. Property was beautiful. Hosts were so kind and extremely accommodating. Everything you need at your fingertips plus some. I appreciate the little things like welcome notes and even a sympathy card as our host knew we were flying in for a funeral service. We loved our stay and will rent again next time we visit. Booking was a breeze—excellent communication with the owner and information posted for our arrival, stay, and departure. The apartment was well stocked and beautifully decorated. Beds were VERY comfortable and plenty of linens and supplies (including having coffee, tea, soap, etc.) Very nicely located for all of our plans in town. Also, the master suite being located opposite to the other rooms was a really relaxing feature for traveling with a family. Thank you!

Gorgeous property!
I’ve stayed at several VRBO properties over the years but this was the cleanest by far. Beds were so comfortable we didn’t want to leave! Stay here- you won’t be disappointed!
