Overall, clean, renovated and great views. On the plus side, easy check in, quiet, and plenty of room for two families to stay. On the negative, there is a strange smell when you enter. I'm guessing from the flooring or something in the framing of the house (it's older home that's been renovated recently). Not huge deal, but noticable. There were dozens of fairly large spiders and webs on the deck. We asked for some help to remove but were not offered anything. I'm not sure if there was a broom. The sofas are really uncomfortable so didn't enjoy watching a movie. Tried to play music on the tv next day while cooking but the sound would not turn on. I gave up. the bedding (thin comforter and no extra blankets), especially the pillows, are subpar compared to everything else. I wanted to use a fluffier king pillow but there were no extra pillow cases for the primary bed. It's also really weird having a shower in the bedroom. And, despite being called "Sandy Beach" there is no access to any beach...it's just a deck overlooking the water. I didn't mind the long winding drive to the house. I do hope that retaining wall holds. It appears they are trying to manage moisture but if I was the owner, I would triple check the drain and supports for that...otherwise, the house is going to get pushed off...
