"We spent a wonderful week in Moriston Cottage despite the rain. Everything was very clean and the cottage is very well equipped, we had everything we needed. There is everything in the kitchen if you want to cook and lots of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. The beds are very comfortable. There is a lovely enclosed back garden which is good if you have a dog. "The location is wonderful, but that’s all the property has going for it. I have never stayed in such a dirty house. I had to clean the downstairs windows, so we could see the view. Mould in both bathrooms. Hairs on bathroom walls and dirt. The kitchen is filthy. Front garden fill with weeds. The whole house was dirty. Not a clean picture or mirror in the whole house. "Ons verblijf was super. Verblijf is prachtig gelegen aan het water. Hebben verschillende uitstapjes/wandelingen gemaakt in de nabije omgeving (Poolewe en Grailoch). In het kleine verblijf was alles aanwezig van afwasmachine tot wasmachine, kookgerei etc. Teleurstellend was de communicatie, die was er helemaal niet. We hebben een paar dagen van te voren via de site aangegeven wanneer onze aankomst zou zijn. Helaas is daar geen antwoord op gekomen. Ook gebeld maar kregen een ingesproken bericht....

"We had a lovely stay in Opinan, near Gairloch. The house was clean, we had nice beds and we enjoyed the the bath. Extra's where the views over the bay, and the nearby beach. (water was a bit cold). a very nice place to stay. But specially for the first night, don't forget to bring your diner and breakfast, as the nearest shop is about a 20 minutes by car. We recommend a stay in this cottage on this special location."
