"The cabin was great and the outdoor fire pit was excellent. We didn’t spend much time indoors because it was cold - right at the end of the season, the propane heater didn’t work and electricity was limited. So we sat around the fire all night and that was perfect. My friend was pickier than me and didn’t sleep well because of scratching critters at the bedroom’s door to the outside. I slept like a log because the interior room had no windows and it was blackout dark - perfect for me! I guess...

"The house is decorated wonderfully and the kitchen is well stocked (spices, paper plates, cookware, etc). The beds are really comfortable. We loved the outdoor fire pit as well as the indoor fireplace. It's a nice retreat for staying in Ohio with parks nearby. Owner is very responsive. "My husband, sister, dog and me spent each evening relaxing by our camp fire. We took a few trips to surrounding restaurants and took many walks. We entertained ourselves kayaking, playing cards or playing bean bag toss. One night we drove an easy ride to Presque Isle Downs to watch the magnificent horses and even bet and won on a few races. The last day we met our family for a ride on their pontoon in Pymatuning. This was one of my favorite getaways. "

The steps going into the house are very steep first step about 10 inches made it a bit difficult for me with a bad knee.
