"We loved our 1 night stay here. The pods are almost new, super comfortable and pretty. The shared toilet facilities were super clean, there were enough to be shared so no need to wait. Location is great, very close to York City Centre and we were lucky to have nice neighbours in the pods around. Highly recommend it"

"This holiday home is the most perfect myself and partner have booked. The decor is absolutely amazing and a lot of thought had been put into it by the owners. It is impossible to pick any faults. The home was clean and high standard and quality of equipment and furnishings. Studying the ‘quirky’ decor was an enjoyable time spent. Simon and Lynne were so friendly without being intrusive. The advert does not do this place justice, it was above and beyond our expectations and we shall be back "

"Larpool Mill is delightful, full of rustic charm without sacrificing comfort and convenience.The property is very spacious and well set out, everything one might need has been provided. The ‘welcome pack’ was a nice gesture too.The garden is large and the situation very quiet, especially so as the small road outside was closed to traffic while we were there. "We had a really good stay. The cottage is beautiful and equipped with absolutely everything you could ever need. Our son really enjoyed the garden, in particular the Wendy House which was also kitted out with toys, which was a lovely bonus. The village is peaceful but perfect for a nice walk. We would thoroughly recommend the property and would stay again. "

"I have to admit that, in my case, I didn’t enjoy at all. Staff is so inflexible, I was in a business trip. Impossible to get a cold sandwich after 9pm (arrived at 9:07) no other options in town except an Indian. The hotel is pet friendly which I like but for the rest not an option for me. A pity because I was expecting something different. The rooms are fine but too many steps and a bit caotic "
