"We spent a few very nice days here exploring Scotland. The proximity to Edinburgh is fantastic, but a trip to the Highlands is also easily possible. The cottage is small but nice and the fireplace in particular offers a lot of coziness. The kitchen is very well equipped and the location is very quiet overall. Thank you for the great time!"

"Old Kirkstead is a really nice spot which was enjoyed by kids and parents alike. We'd never been to this part of Scotland before but we'll be back for longer in the summer having only had three nights this time round. "The guest house was exceptionally comfortable and well suited for my stay of 7 days (and would have been well suited for any length of time). "What a wonderful house and in such a nice neighbourhood and only a short ride to city centre. The house is great with the most comfortable beds, excellent wi-fi, immaculately clean with all the amenities one would need. Just sorry we were not staying longer but already planning a friends reunion for later in 2024 and definitely want to stay in Dreghorn House. Thanks to lovely host Lisa for all your help."
