We enjoyed our stay here. Host, Jonathon, reached out in advance and everything was as stated. The house is tastefully furnished and comfortable. We had everything we needed even for meal preparation (bowls, pans, strainers, can openers, etc . . . ). I found a few minor challenges with the property:
1) the bathroom layout - one is between then main living area and a bedroom making it a bit awkward to use and the other which is shared by 2 bedrooms is quite small with old (squeaky) doors. The layout makes it hard to use the bathroom without disturbing the occupants in the adjoining room.
2) the property is densely wooded. The area surrounding the firepit is all dirt. This caused everything - adirondack chairs, grills, patio, etc . . . to be very dirty (I guess from rain splashing dirt & mud). It is also quite noisy due to proximity to major roads.
3) the ping pong table is in a one car garage located in the rear of the house and not visible to the firepit area
4) There is plenty of parking, but turning around to depart is tricky. Also, the driveway is super steep and appears to have washed out in the past. We missed the turn in initially, so keep your eyes peeled to the right as soon as you see the pond.
All in all it was mostly favorable with easy access to downtown Knoxville and campus!
