Great location
What we loved most about our stay at Kuhio Shores was the great location. The complex was clean and quiet; located between a restaurant and the bay. Across the street was a park. This location for us was much more attractive than the many resorts in Poipu, in terms of density and traffic. From our deck, we enjoyed watching the Green Sea Turtles frolic in the surf, the crabs scurrying among the lava rocks, and the BEAUTIFUL sunrises and sunsets. We also enjoyed the Rose-ringed Parakeets (parrots) that roosted each night in the Palm Trees (although parking under those trees resulted in poop bombs on the car; you have been warned😜). Sight unseen, I felt like we made the right choice for OUR Kauai vacay.

Just a little piece of paradise
This location and unit was perfect for our vacation needs. I wanted to be able to relax and unwind. We spent each day enjoying the turtles in the cove. Getting to hear the sounds of the ocean everyday was so calming. The unit is lovely and well appointed.

Wonderful stay
We loved the location of the property and listening to the ocean at night. We were able to see sunrises and sunsets daily which we thoroughly enjoyed. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location!
Beautiful location and close to a lot what we wanted to do. Furnishings are quite nice. The bed was so comfortable and slept quite well. Nice having all we needed to make our stay easy and convenient. Spoke with Anne, property manager, so kind and sweet! We will be back in the future!

Modern Living close to the action
This is a one bedroom condo that has recently upgrade and is very nicely appointed. If you like to cook on your vacations you will find everything you need except the food. We slept with the sliding door and windows open which provide a nice breeze and the sound of the ocean put us to sleep each night. Most of what is interesting in this area is walkable. We walked all the way down the coast to Poipu Beach no problem and there is a lot of great dining within an easy drive. Also it seemed liked everything we wanted to do, dinner cruise (Port Allen), Kipu Ranch four wheeling or charter fishing out of Lihue were all about 25 minutes away, very convenient since driving long distances at night in Kauai is not a lot of fun. This is a good location if you want to enjoy the South Side of the island.

My kinda place!
I really have absolutely nothing negative to say. This place was wonderful! If you don't like a big fancy resort with all the blah, and like a nice quiet private condo right on the water where you can watch the turtles every day, this is it. Months ago I requested a table and chairs outside and voila! The sun is very powerful and hits the patio pretty hard, but it's great early AM and evening. Kitchen was well equipped enough and hosts were incredibly thoughtful in all things throughout! Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Great spot
The place was very good. We did rotate the foam mattress as it had divets where people normally slept. I would have liked basic supplies like pepper, sugar, vinegar, and oil (there was salt but I imagine it was left by another guest). The condo itself was nicely appointed and comfortable. All the beach supplies were appreciated. No snorkeling gear but having chairs, umbrella, cooler, and towels was wonderful. The location wasn't as walkable as I had thought based on maps. We could hear other condos but it is well insulated and not loud. The sunrises were fantastic. I would prefer a checkout time of 11 instead of 10.

All you need and more!
This property was amazing! Very clean with a few supplies (dish soap, hand soap, squeegee) to keep it that way. The bed was very comfortable with fans and a/c to keep you cool at night. There is also a/c in the living area. The bathroom is spacious with lots of towels. Living area comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped for whatever your cooking needs .Watch the turtles swimming below from the balcony.

Wonderful property in paradise,
We had a very good stay at this property which is clean, completely updated and well thought out. As far as the location that was a good choice as well, it is Kauai after all:) If we were pushed to nitpick the sound on the tv is quite irritating, also a broom for longer stays is a good idea.

Great view, steps to snorkeling, clean/quiet
We loved our stay in this quiet, clean and close to everything condo in Poipu. Property managers were responsive. Bed was good. Kitchen fully equipped. You will ejoy the view of the turtles in the surf, walking to the snorkeling beach and how easy it is to visit the rest of the Island from this location.

Beautiful location!
Kuhio Shores 306 is a beautiful and quiet condo settled right next to the ocean. The unit is updated, bright and inviting. It has all the essentials you need for your stay and then some. We enjoyed waking up and sitting on the patio watching the turtles below. It is walking distance to so much, from the beach to shopping, to dining. I highly recommend this property.
