"Extremely friendly staff and great food in their restaurant. The property is remote and my family found it extremely peaceful. The ghost town is great and has some small shops in them where the staff are friendly. Rooms are great and the beds are super comfy! We will be back!!! Also I hope to see the orange cat in the lobby!! "

"Impeccably, spotlessly clean, but somewhat dated. They could update their mattresses and bathroom and get a 5 star review. We spent over a week in Alberta in various establishments from lodges to hotels to motels, and my whole family agreed that this was the place we all slept the best. It's not much to look at, but it's extremely clean and quiet. Great outdoor pool and indoor hot tub. Easy walk to the grocery store. Otherwise Golden is a boring little place, but that's not a criticism of this...
