"The house is great for large groups - we were a group of two extended families and the property was perfect for the kids to run around. The house itself could have been cleaner and we were disappointed by the small number of utensils provided - there should be at least enough forks and knives for the number of guests staying (I think we had 12 forks total for our group of 14 and there are a total of about 17 beds). Also the pots and pans were all almost unusable - the non stick coating was grimy...

"2 families stayed here over the Australia Day long weekend. As displayed in the photos, the house is quite run down on the outside and in some parts in the inside but none of this affected our stay. Everything that mattered was great. Very clean, great working bathroom and kitchen, easy access BBQ, enough driveway parking for 2 x cars, 1 x boat and 1 x jetski, shops walking distance, the lake only a short drive. Thanks for having us!"

"Stunning views and idyllic setting for a very peaceful and relaxing family break with kids and dogs. Loved the wood burner inside and the fire pit outside. Sitting outside toasting marshmallows, listening to the wildlife and watching the stars was beautiful. Kids loved the rope swing, tree platform and spotting kangaroos too."

"This is definitely budget accommodation, the unit was not flash and the upkeep to our unit poor, washing machine didn't spin out (leaving clothes very wet) and the door jammed making it difficult to exit (lucky we didn't have to exit in a hurry. However, if these things don't both you then the location is amazing, and there is a good variety of facilities. "Our family weekend away was so nice at Loyola Lakehouse. The property and grounds were looked after very well. The property is well appointed, luxury and space! The process was easy from start to finish and only being a short drive into town made it easy to get supplies and enjoy some of Mansfield town. Would happily go back in a heartbeat!"

"Overall 3/5. Pretty location and quiet place. However the AC unit is bolted to the wall directly behind the bed head. The noise is really loud. The water is discoloured. We understand it is from the rain water tank. But we are concerned to drink it. When we seek help from the owner, the owner is overseas…. They tried their best to help over the phone call but they can only do so much. "

"The house is big and spacious and has everything you need, except there is no high chair or portacot, games are very limited and have missing peices, the views are stunning, we enjoyed the king parrots visiting everyday as we sat on the verandah. We didnt use the bbq because the hot plates are rusted We really enjoyed our stay."

"Excellent location with outstanding views and environment. Accommodation is excellent for what it offers, eg. quiet, private, comfortable. Would recommend at least a couple of nights stay. Come prepared for self catering as the town of Mansfield is at times very busy. It’s not 5 star, the cabin was clean and adequate in its offerings."
