Outstanding location with new kitchen
We loved the stay. Between the recently remodeled kitchen, access to snorkeling in the ocean down a few steps off the back of the property, and a gorgeous view, we would absolutely stay here again (and we rarely want to visit the same place twice!) We dove with Wanna Dive across the street and had a positive experience with a discount arranged by Chris. Two thumbs up.

Great house with mucho room!
This home was a great fit for our group of divers. The bedrooms, while they could use some updating, were large and private, especially the master which spanned the upper floor and had a lanai and office. The common space was well outfitted to accommodate at least 8 - 10 people. Kitchen was stocked with spices, and all needed for cooking, as well as the outdoor gas grill. Pool pool was lovely as was the patio and lanai, with a super. Jew of the sunset. We dove off the patio to the same reef as windsock and bachelors beach. Wanna Dive, right across the street was perfect for tank and gear rental. Great location! Minutes walking to our favorite food truck, cactus blue, and close to town and all the best dive sites. We will definitely look to book here again!

Perfect house for families
This house is perfect for 2-3 families. The process of booking to the end was easy. There was never a problem with communication even though the owner was not on site. There's not much more we could have asked for. We do highly recommend this house.

Private Oasis on the ocean
We were traveling with our two adult sons and their partners. This house was perfect for our group. We enjoyed every aspect of this property and the stunning view of the ocean. The kitchen was well appointed and we cooked several family dinners. Villa Kasteel is in a great location; easy access to south shore diving, town and the airport. You can snorkel or dive right off the stairs on the property. There is an outdoor shower and rinse tanks (which we used daily). The home owner and property manager were quick to respond when we had questions. We used several of the restaurant recommendations. Foodies was fantastic. We had a great holiday trip and it was hard to leave!

Ocean front Bonaire home
This property was clean, with a gorgeous view and nice outside sitting area that overhangs the ocean. The pool was small, but typical for Bonaire. Steps to the ocean were handy for diving/snorkeling with an easy, sandy entry. Beds were comfortable. Check in & out were smooth with Bassje being quite thorough & communicating efficiently. Some doors were not in great working order and my daughter was actually not able to get back into her room as the only entrance was through the bathroom & it was firmly stuck in position. This home is NOT well stocked with products. Plenty of towels, but we were out of dishwasher soap after one day, hand soap only in 2/3 bathrooms & not even available in the third. No laundry soap, cleaning spray for the counters, or any additional shower toiletries, so bring them! We did not even have enough trash bags for our week stay, but I was tired of buying additional products at the grocery. The house is quite beautiful in many ways, however, it is overdue for updates considering the nightly price.

This house was absolutely beautiful with stunning views! It was in a great location and close to many restaurants. The best part about the house is that snorkeling, right off the back deck! We look forward to staying here again on the next trip to Bonaire.

fantastic holiday
We had a very nice holiday with our family. A beautiful house overlooking the sea. We were welcomed very nicely and if we had any questions they were answered immediately. Everything was there! neatly cared for. Swimming, snorkeling and diving in the sea in front of the house were very cool. Beautiful underwater world. Looking out over the sea with a drink in the pool was a unique experience. Thank you for this beautiful place we enjoyed it very much!

Unbeatable View
The view is even better than the pictures! The double pool adds to the relaxation. The home is older but in good shape and the remodeled kitchen is fabulous. The ac units also work really (not always the case from other experiences we've had). We really appreciated all of the extra towels and laundry for our extended time on Bonaire. The steps provide amazing access to the ocean but are in need of repair and removal of the fire coral. Both understable for a property living on the edge of the water. Make sure you understand the layout before booking. Our kids were cool with staying off the courtyard, but it can slippery after a rain and dark if you forget the lights. Overall great location and very comfortable accommodations.

This was our second time staying at this property. And, again, it did not disappoint. The addition of the dive shop right across the street was a huge bonus! Great views and outdoor space
As others have said the best part about this place is the outdoor space and the views It was really gorgeous. The home is also well stocked and comfortable. The weather was rainy (for Bonaire) when we were there which was a bit tricky in this house given the water that pooled in the outdoor spaces. Bedrooms are comfortable and well appointed but a bit on the smaller side (except for the gorgeous master). Overall a solid house with responsive and helpful owners.

Scuba vacation
We enjoyed ourselves very much on our scuba vacation… the house is very comfortable, there is a scuba shop across street, and diving right at the house was every bit as good as the rest of Bonaire. We would go back and recommend to us house to others.

Beautiful Week! Great week with friends!
This is definitely a property you should rent! Close to town and the airport! The scenery of the ocean is breathtaking! The sitting area of the pool overlooking the ocean is where we spent most of our time! We are all snorkelers and saw beautiful fish. Very easy to take the steps tight down to the water. Kitchen has everything you need! We had a Friendsgiving meal and the kitchen was so accommodating! Rooms were nice and we slept very well. Just a minor issue with the air conditioning upstairs but contacted Chris and he was on the situation immediately. Chris, Rowena and Basjee was very attentive and felt very comfortable contacting them with any questions we had! The house is very nice and definitely what we were looking for! It was a great week!

Beautiful home and great location!!
Our family of 8 spent a week at this beautiful home. The kitchen was so well stocked. We were able to do a lot of cooking without any problems. The pool was fantastic and being right on the sea was breathtaking. Great sunsets every night. Highly recommend this house.

Your Perfect Stay in Paradise
If you’ve found this listing, you’ve found the perfect stay for your group on Bonaire. Pictures don’t do this home justice. It was clearly built by talented craftsmen. Our group ranged from ages 2 to 60 (in addition to a dog) and each group member enjoyed the many facets of this gorgeous property. We spent most of our time out on the patio taking in stunning views of cerulean seas and pristine Klein Bonaire. Christopher and the property caretaker took care any concerns that arose in a timely fashion. The property has everything you might need during your time on the island. The beds are firm, supportive, and extremely comfortable. I would without hesitation recommend this home for a group stay on Bonaire.

Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. We did run into some challenges. Baasje gave us a tour of the home on arrival & the kitchen AC was out as well as a ceiling fan in the living rm, but the space was plenty cool without them. The morning after we arrived we got an electric cut off notice as they cut off the electric & of course no internet with no electric. I called Baasje on the house phone and he went right down to the electric co. and resolved the problem and the electric was turned back on that afternoon. Fortunately we were on a fishing trip that afternoon. Chris explained that the water & electric co. are run by the govnt and they had applied his electric payment to his water acct. When the electric came back on, it affected the ice maker and master bedroom AC so they wouldn’t work. Parts weren’t available for the AC for 7 days, so they replaced the AC unit in the bdrm so we were only without it for 1 night & there are 2 other units upstairs so the temp. was bearable for only 1 night. The next day we washed clothes and when the washer drained it came out of the floor drain in the laundry room and flooded the laundry room, hall & part of the kitchen. Fortunately, there were squeegees so we could get it cleaned up. Baasje immediately called a plumber and they came out and found baby wipes in the lines and cleared them so we all thought everything was ok. Unfortunately, the same thing happened the next day, and the next and the next and caused a sewer gas smell in bathroom off the living room and the bathroom between the 2 bedrooms. Baasje tried really hard to resolve it and had plumbers out every day trying to fix it by snaking the lines and even a pump truck, but ultimately they may have to dig up concrete to repair it. I would recommend that they add more towels and replace some of the ones they have. Just a string of bad luck. Other than that, the house was well stocked and nice. The back patio area was amazing! What a beautiful view with a beautiful infinity pool! You could see fish clearly from the back patio and could climb down the stairs and snorkel right there. The master bdrm had an office area which was really nice to have. Two of the bedrooms are off the courtyard that share a bathroom and the 3rd bathroom and a bedroom were off the living room. The living rm dining rm & kitchen were nicely laid out & worked well. While it was frustrating, we enjoyed our visit. Chris refunded a portion of our rental.

Amazing home and views!
Our family of 8 loved this house for our family vacation. It had an unusual layout but it worked perfectly for our group. The pool and deck are even nicer than the photos and we spent most of our time outside. We frequently rent houses from VRBO and this was one if the best supplied and equipped! Anything you could want in the kitchen was there! Communication with the owner and property manager was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing stay. The view from the house is breathtaking. We used the stairs to the water every day to go snorkeling and saw many differ t varieties of fish. The restaurant next door is great but I’d definitely recommend a car to get to dive/snorkeling spots and to explore the island. We definitely plan on staying here again.

Great house and location. Perfect place for a dive vacation.
The house is beautiful, comfortable and perfectly suited for a large group. The outdoor area overlooking the ocean was the focal point of our stay. We would return in a heartbeat.
