"We enjoyed every moment of our stay at Paul's Place ! Tucked away in the woods, so private and beautifully maintained with all the comforts of home. They thought of everthing, it was all there ! So clean, warm and cozy ! We lost count of the wildlife sightings and our blood pressure has never been so low with the serene setting haha Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer. "We stayed for 3 nights over Labor Day weekend after looking for somewhere to stay close to Hawk Mountain. The house has a great layout and is well stocked. We comfortably slept 6 adults and 2 young children. Our pup also enjoyed running around the property. The property manager was extremely responsive and helpful before and during the stay as well. "

"Everything about the house was as listed and in most cases better. We had a large group of mixed ages and everyone had comfortable spaces and it was easy to entertain in the house. The pool was a bit hit as well as the movie theater! Overall I definitely recommend the house. I took off one star for location simply because there isn't much in the area in terms of things to do outside the house, however as the house is so great you don't really need much else!"

"This is a very old Victorian style house. It has noisy steam heat; barely working locks (some don't work at all), and sketchy electrical. We booked 2br/2ba, which got us the 2nd and 3rd floors (host lives on the 1st floor). Furnishings are old; kitchens are functional, but that's it. Water pressure was VERY low. "This property was exactly what we were looking for! We were going to a concert in Jim Thorpe and doing some other activities in the area. The property has plenty of room to do anything. We were able to put the pack and play for the baby in the bedroom and still have plenty of room for everything else. I would only say one negative thing, and it's not even negative.
