Cottage Juanita was wonderful!

We loved the natural beauty of the setting, the privacy and the comfort. We like to cook, and were able to make a local dish we had enjoyed at a restaurant in the very well stocked kitchen.Our host was very helpful. A multi paged sheet of information about the property and the area was provided. And Ted himself stopped by to see how we were doing and to answer any questions. We would like to suggest that the phrase "Turn at the red church" be added to the directions for how to get here.The location is wonderful for day trips in either direction. We visited the Botanical Gardens, Anaga Park, the History Museum in La Laguna, El Socoro Beach and Icod de la las Vinos. The internet worked fine and the TV was a good size for relaxing after our trips.Thank you Ted!

Wonderful Holiday

Casa Juanita is in a lovely quiet location. It comes equiped with all you would need. The bed is most comfortable. Best of all are the hosts. We received a wealth of information both before and during our stay. They checked in with us regularly to see if we needed anything and to give us avocados freshly picked from the tree on our private patio. Thank you so much Ted and Chris for making us feel so welcome.

Ein wunderbarer Ort

Wir haben die Tage im Cottage Juanita sehr genossen - ein wunderbarer Ort um auszuspannen und die reizvolle Umgebung zu entdecken. Ted ist ein sehr hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, der uns mit 1000 Tips zu Ausflügen, Stränden, Restaurants usw. versorgt hat. Das Häuschen ist klein aber fein und hat eine wundervolle Dachterrasse, auf der sich wunderbar entspannen lässt.

Little gem among avocado trees!!!

What a wonderful place!!! Excellent welcoming by the host with a basket of fresh fruits and a bottle of wine. We enjoyed the stay very much and felt like home. Every day we were eating outside on the patio among all the avocado trees. The BBQ grill was a plus. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. There is also a parking spot for the car. Thanks again to Ted and Cris for all their help and recommendations. We'll be back!!!

Everything was perfect! The hosts were very helpfull and the apartment was the most cleaniest one i've ever seen! It was like coming home although we have never been on teneriffa before! The avocado trees grew around the apartment, the beach was nearby... we will go there again, definitely!

The perfect vacation retreat

My wife and I grateful that Ted and Cris decided to share their beautiful property. The cottage was the perfect getaway and the location served as a convenient location as we explored the wonders of Tenerife. After spending the day being "tourists" it was nice to return "home" to the quiet of the plantation and the comfort of our accommodations.

Gemütlich, ruhig entspannend

Wir haben im September für 9 Tage im Cottage Juanita eine schöne Zeit verbracht. Das Häuschen ist sehr nett eingerichtet und bietet alles was wir für unseren Aufenthalt benötigten. Ted hat uns mit vielen nützlichen Tipps bei unserem Ferienprogramm unterstützt. Frühstück unterm Avocadobaum ist toll, genauso wie das Beobachten der Sterne vom Dach des Cottage. Zum Strand kann man in knapp 30 Minuten gut zu Fuß gehen auch wenn der Weg recht steil ist. Das Restaurant oberhalb des Bollullo Strand können wir sehr empfehlen. Unvergesslich wird uns unsere Tour zum Sonnenuntergang auf dem Teide mit anschließender Sternenbeobachtung bleiben. Bestimmt werden wir nochmal wiederkommen, da es uns sehr gut gefallen hat.

wunderbares, gemütliches Häuschen

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Cottage Juanita sehr genossen. Es war hell und freundlich, sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und absolut sauber! Alles vorhanden, was man im Urlaub braucht. Zur Begrüßung gab es eine Flasche Wein und einen gut gefüllten Obstkorb. Das Cottage ist von Bananenplantagen umgeben, daher absolut ruhig. Teds Betreuung vor Ort war sehr angenehm. Er versorgte uns stets mit guten Tipps für unsere Unternehmungen. Wunderbar!

Wunderschöne Gegend, sehr netter und sympathischer Vermieter, sauber, Terrasse mit Grill, top

Wir wurden vom Vermieter mit einer Führung durchs Haus und mit vielen nützlichen Tipps (Restaurants, Strände, Surfschulen, etc.) empfangen. Das Häuschen selbst liegt am Rande einer Avokadoplantage und ist durch eine kurze Straße erreichbar. Wir waren von der Sauberkeit und der hübschen Einrichtung im spanischen Stil begeistert. Highlights waren die Terrasse mit Grillplatz und das Bad mit ebenerdiger Regendusche. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder

Sehr schön und funktional eingerichtetes Häuschen, kleine Terasse beschattet von Avocadobäumen, kleine Küche mit allem was man für den täglichen Bedarf benötigt. Absolut ruhig, perfekt um sich zu erholen! Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeber die immer Ansprechbar waren! Wir kommen gerne wieder...

Zauberhaftes Cottage mit herzlicher Betreuung

Wir suchten eine Wohnung für uns und unseren 8jährigen Sohn, die im Norden Teneriffas in der Nähe von Puerto de la Cruz liegt. Wir wünschten uns etwas „Auslauf“ für unseren Sohn und Ruhe für uns. Im Cottage Juanita haben wir all das gefunden. Das Haus ist liebevoll, modern und umfangreich ausgestattet. Es gibt neben vielem anderen eine Waschmaschine, Backofen, Tiefkühlfach, allerdings keine Spülmaschine (die wir wider Erwarten gar nicht vermisst haben). Für unseren Sohn gab es ein Reisebett im Schlafzimmer, das vom Wohnraum nicht durch eine Tür abgetrennt ist. Das Highlight war für uns die schöne Terrasse. Wir haben dort in Mitten von Avocadobäumen gefrühstückt, gegrillt und ausgeruht. Nachts hört man bei offenem Fenster nur das Meer und morgens die Vögel, ansonsten ist es wunderbar ruhig. Mit den Auto kommt man schnell zu Supermärkten und in das schöne Puerto de la Cruz. Außerordentlich begeistert waren wir von der gastfreundlichen und hilfsbereiten Art von Ted, der uns von der ersten Minute an zuvorkommend, aber unaufdringlich betreut hat. Er spricht ein sehr gut verständliches Englisch, wohnt direkt nebenan und steht mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, egal ob Tipps zu Ausflügen, Auskünften zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Infos zu Avocados, Vermittlungshilfe bei Mietwagenproblemen, Verleih von Sandspielzeug etc.. Außerdem wurde unser zuhause nach einer Woche komplett gereinigt, aufgeräumt, mit neuen Handtüchern ausgestattet und und und. So fühlt sich Urlaub an. Das morgentliche "Have a nice day" von Ted werden wir in sehr guter Erinnerung behalten. Wir haben uns als Familie dank Ted und Christina rundherum wohl und willkommen gefühlt und werden hoffentlich bald wiederkommen. Ganz herzlichen Dank an die beiden.

Lovely comfortable, well presented cottage.

The cottage has been well planned and thought out, beautifully finished and well equipped and is both comfortable and welcoming with plenty of space. As Ted was not going to be able to greet us on arrival as he would normally do, he made sure well in advance that we were aware of how to access the property and that we had his contact number. The outside space is pretty with colourful plants surrounding the terrace giving privacy. The owners are friendly, helpful and available if needed to give any local advice or recommendations. The San Diego restaurant at the bottom of the hill, 5 minutes walk away, has a great menu and lives up to Ted's excellent recommendation. The volcanic scenery on Mount Teide is unmissable and the north coast is well worth a visit. All in all, a great space to stay which we would be happy to recommend to friends and family.

Perfect cottage in green oasis of an avocado "forest"

Brilliant location in walking distance of beach, restaurant and Puerto de la Cruz. This a great base to enjoy the best of Tenerife. However, the biggest assets are the charming and helpful hosts- Bernard and Christina! We've already booked again for next year!!!

We experienced our stay in Villa Juanita as a very pleasant one, the villa was very clean, cozy in a rural quiet setting.Ted is a wonderful host. We would like to come back on our next visit to Tenerife.

Beautiful, very clean and well equipped in a lovely location.

We had some difficulty finding the property although it is very close to the TF5 but when we did we were delighted. It is in an avocado plantation which we loved but the downside was that we had little direct sunshine on our patio. It didn't stop us having meals out there as it was usually the perfect temperature. Bernard was very helpful without being obtrusive. This was our second visit to Tenerife and our first to the north of the island. We found the cottage the perfect location for exploring the north and for visiting El Teide again. There was more cloud in the north as we had been warned but we didn't have rain and the area is so green. The restaurant San Diego which overlooks the sea,was lovely and within an easy walk so we used it several times both for meals and drinks. The town of La Oratava is very close and well worth a visit. We have no hesitation in recommending this property.

Here you can find peace, rest and relaxation, sympathetic and friendly owners who prepared everything very well including helpful information how to find the property, the way to the fascinating and impressing beaches, trip tips for the incredibly beautiful island, restaurant recommendations and so on… The small country house on the avocado plantation surrounded by palm tree and beautiful flowers is tastefully furnished with everything you need. The rural atmosphere was very calm and we recovered very well. Who wants to stay on Tenerife far away from sun hungry crowds, this is the place!

Wunderschönes Wohnen im grünen Teneriffa

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in diesem hübschen hellen Holzhäuschen inmitten einer Avocado-Plantage. Kein Verkehrslärm, Sonne oder Schatten auf der Terrasse, keine Störungen durch die Mieter des Nachbarhäuschens, mit Auto gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, ein fußläufig erreichbares gutes Restaurant - und ein freundlicher, hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Wir freuen uns auf einen zweiten Urlaub dort.
