We stayed 6 weeks and really got to know the space and neighborhood.
Ana was a real “rock star”! She responded quickly and effectively to the few issues we had. The gate to the front terrace was broken and she brought repairmen in with a welder to fix it! The kitchen is supplied with basic utensils. I like to cook so hit one of the many local houseware/department stores for a few more kitchen supplies, which I left behind.
The few things we asked to have repaired are those staying just a few days will simply overlook. As someone who also has a VRBO and is staying long term, I hope it was appreciated that I brought them to the owner’s attention. This home is very clean but could use some minor refreshing. The operator manual needs updating, chipped dish ware needs replacing, some screen doors did not fit well and the draperies needed hooks and were hard to open and close. The kitchen could use some counter task lighting.
This is the first time we’ve stayed in a neighborhood in Mexico, so the car alarms and barking dogs are something to get used to. Bring industrial grade ear plugs!
The building in front obstructs what would be a panoramic view from the top terrace but blocks much of the noise at night from the nearby Malacon. Instead, it has two million dollar views! The hot tub is wonderful, but can take up to three hours to heat.
With the many excellent shops and restaurants nearby we found a car unnecessarily, unless it’s to visit the beautiful towns and beaches nearby.
