VERY DISAPPOINTING!!
At first glance it was a really nice place. That was until we found street and narcotic prescription drugs (with labels scratched off) in the night stand. They state "The concrete forms offer a quiet sanctuary within your space". Yeah nope. Walls are paper thin. You could hear everything. So it was far from a quiet sanctuary. You could literally hear someone fart in the next unit. There was a dirty plate and a dirty pan found mixed in with the clean dishes, so we washed everything we used before using it. Who ever is in charge of cleaning and inspecting definitely didn't do their job. When certain issues were brought to the host attention there was just excuse after excuse on why it was like that. We will definitely not be returning or recommending this place to anyone. The island itself was amazing. We will be returning to island just different accommodations.

It was centrally located. The condo was spacious and clean. I would definitely stay again. Communication was very good with the host. Madeline Island was a quaint little place for a weekend getaway.

Location!
This property is perfectly located in the center of town. It was so relaxing to sit on the deck and watch all of the community activities. We enjoyed a scenic day at the Big Bay Town Park, and enjoyed live music at The Bell Street Inn. Our unit was spotless, spacious,and updated. The hosts made everything super easy during our stay. We couldn't have asked for more! Thank you!

Wedding Rental-the perfect stay
My husband and I finally got to have our wedding party after long delays due to COVID, and we had been working with the Bellstreet for lodging since day 1. Dave was so fantastic to work with throughout the entire process and made sure our stay was special and perfect. Dave also helped us through some last minute wedding issues that happened to us and truly allowed us to have the best wedding week, he even checked in on us when we arrived. The location in town is perfect and walking distance to everything. We could have asked for a better stay for our wedding week!

Wonderful stay overall
This location was wonderful! We were very pleased with our stay. The space is very large and well furnished and decorated. The outdoor space was lovely, and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony during a heavy rainstorm. Our only complaint was that the couch was pretty well-used, and there were TONS of crumbs between the cushions. We threw the extra sheets and comforter over it to make ourselves feel more comfortable. I recommend that couch is replaced or VERY well-cleaned.

Loved it--perfect place to stay!
The condo was exceptionally clean and comfortable, the location is just a short walk from the ferry and local shops. The kitchen was well stocked with pans, dishes, utensils and the bedroom/bath had nice linens, towels, etc all very fresh. Really appreciated the outside balcony space and enjoyed watching people and island life. Would recommend taking screenshot of checkin/wifi information before coming to island as I had no phone signal/could not access info upon arrival, thankful Dave came right over to assist within a minute! Also recommend bringing along food/snacks from the mainland as the local restaurants were almost all closed down midweek when we were there, so grateful for the local market offerings.

Everything was better than expected. The space was large and clean. It didn’t have garbage bags so we used our disposable grocery bags, other than that the house was a central location that fit perfect for what we wanted.

Another great experience!
There is something about the island that keeps up coming back for more. This was our 8th time on the island, and our 2nd time staying at Bell Street. We love how big this space is and having it right in the middle of town.

Nice place centrally located.
Easy check in, confusing directions but easy to find. Not much open on the island starting mid oct. and we weren’t aware of that as google info on restaurants etc was not accurate. Regardless, we came prepared and had an awesome time exploring the island.

Good property
Overall we had a great experience at this property. It is close to restaurants and walking distance to the lake. We enjoyed having optional outdoor seating as well as a spacious kitchen. It would have been nice to have further information about local restaurants and attractions as we went to a few places on the island which were closed for the season. Furthermore, there was a faint sour furniture smell. It was not strong enough to ruin the stay, but I would recommend possibly replacing the furniture or cleaning them a bit more. As stated before, we did enjoy our stay here and would recommend it to family and friends.

Great location and very spacious
Very convenient location and plenty of room. We enjoyed our stay very much. Seemed a little weird that we were asked to wash the dishes and take out the garbage and recycling, but not a big deal. All in all a good place to stay.

Great Location on the island!
Our family really enjoyed our stay here, even though it is only a one bedroom there was so much room for our family of four to relax and spread out! Our kids are in college & middle school and we’re able to rent bicycles across the street and tour the whole island. The property was clean and welcoming. We loved being so close to everything. I would definitely stay here again. The property could maybe use another mirror though, with only one bathroom my daughter was a little frustrated looking for a place to get ready in the morning. Definitely recommend!!
