Enjoyable
Nice facility, good location. We enjoyed our stay until the last night and there was a sewer issue and the toilets quit working. We ended up leaving in the middle of the night due to no toilets. The owner was very apologetic and refunded us one nights stay. This was just something beyond their control and handled it the best they could.

Perfect for Turning Green Ceremony
This place was 100% what we were looking for. We rented it for my son's graduation from boot camp. He loves the outdoors so we thought it would be relaxing for him to have a quiet place in the woods for his weekend away. Even though it was an hour from base, it was worth the drive! The town of LaGrange was only 15 min away and had all we needed for eating and picking up some things my son needed to take back to base. There was a nice screened in porch at the house where we spent the majority of our time together laughing and relaxing and sharing stories. It was a short walk to the lake where my kids all skipped rocks. The house was spotless when we arrived and it had everything we needed to cook our own meals. 10/10 would recommend for anyone who has a soldier looking to unwind from the noise. My son and the whole family absolutely loved it. It was just what we needed.

Spring stay 5 stars
Wi-fi/tv service were not great or maybe we just didn’t know how to operate it affectively. we kept losing service or it would turn off. The walk to the lake was grown up. We were not here for the lake we were here for a high school state golf tournament and quiet nights in with plenty of room to relax. We would stay at this property again.

This is a cute quiet cabin in secluded area. The screened in porch is the perfect place to enjoy the weather and not the bugs. It is nicely decorated and cozy. It was a perfect spot for my family to hang out and rest between my son’s military ceremonies and before making the long trek back home. Very pleased. If we ever make a trip to Georgia again I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here.

This property was big enough for my family of 6. 2 adults 3 kids under the age of 4 and a 17 year old. The lake was just a little 5 minute walk. The area was quite and peaceful. I would definitely be staying here again when i come back down to georgia to visit my family. The cabin was clean.

Drive through Zoo getaway
This place is perfect place to let kids be kids, especially my son. We come to this area every year to celebrate my son’s birthday. The kids love to have their room and my daughter loves the “Christmas” lights.

Perfect location
We (5) stayed for 3 days.. it was perfect. We had all we needed for breakfast (except toaster) and lunch. Our dinners were out for rehearsal dinner & wedding. Perfect amount of room for 5 adults. We forgot to bring a hairdryer and there wasn’t one available. Our fault. We did have an incident. My husband was the last to leave house he looked the door walked outside with keys for car & house sitting on the credenza so we had to call the owner and she was gracious enough to send someone with a key within 20 minutes. We made it to the wedding as they were doing their vows. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely stay here, if it’s available.

Quiet area and very comfortable. We enjoyed the stay and appreciate the atmosphere and amenities. We fished and relaxed during the stay. Close to the lake and that was what we wanted. Thanks for the stay!

Making Memories with Mom
We were in town for unfortunate circumstances. My mom is Stage 4 Metastatic Small Cell Lung Cancer. She lives in LaGrange, GA and we came from Mississippi to spend time with her. The Pike’s were AMAZING HOST! They were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was full of memories with mom! Thanks so much for sharing your piece of paradise with my family! This will be a trip I’ll always treasure! The outside lights made for a magical experience. We fished, kids swam, lots of cooking out on the back patio. Darts and fire pit added extra excitement! Pike’s Place will be missed! Thanks again!
