Our group of five couples, all in our 70’s, had our annual college reunion In Lafayette, and we were delighted with all aspects of the rental. THE HOUSE: We used all 5 bedrooms; each comfortable with en-suite bath. The master bedroom on the second floor is extra spacious; the three additional second floor bedrooms comfortable; the fifth, smaller, bedroom is in the basement level, next to the large rec room with projector TV, golf simulator, and exercise room. The first floor is spacious, with multiple conversation/gathering areas. There was plenty of glasses, dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils for our group. We used and enjoyed the hot tub; we sat around the gas fire pit in the evening, and the outdoor table off the kitchen. Again, there were plenty of chairs and configurations for small groups as well as for all 10 of us. Parking was easy, with room for three cars in the driveway plus on-street parking. LOCATION: Great access to Louisville, Boulder, Denver, airport. We walked at Waneka Lake and Walden Ponds; visited Teocalli, the Read Queen, and Stam Chocolate in Lafayette; toured Liberty Puzzles in Boulder – all 20 minutes or less from the house. HOST: Fernando was extraordinary. He answered messages almost instantly, attended quickly to a couple of missing items, provided an introductory video for an easy move-in. One small plumbing issue was addressed within an hour; our group was treated with respect and immediate attention at all times.
