Wonderful villa in peaceful location
Wonderful villa in a very peaceful location but still close to Lagos town and marina! Great size pool and lots of outdoor space for you little one to play. The toys and floats were an added bonus! Super clean too and great communication with the owner and manager in Lagos. Would highly recommend to families and would not hesitate to rebook in the future. Thank you for having us!

Schön mit kleinen Macken
Die Villa ist schön und großzügig. Es gibt eine schöne Terrasse im Erdgeschoss. Dort sind auch alle Schlafzimmer, eine kleine Küche und drei Badezimmer (wenn man die große Version des Hauses bucht). Zwei Bäder sind ganz neu renoviert. Im oberen Stockwerk ist die „richtige“ Küche und ein großes Wohnzimmer mit einem Balkon, der einen schönen Meer- und Stadtblick hat. Die Küche ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber gut ausgestattet, auch wenn Besteck und Geschirr ein großes Sammelsurium sind. Es gibt zwei Kühlschränke mit Gefrierfach, was im Sommer sehr gut ist. Der Pool ist sehr schön und es sind genügend Liegen da. Auch eine Wiese lädt zum Spielen ein, z. B. Volleyball oder Federball. Wir haben folgende Verbesserungsvorschläge/Informationen: - der Pool könnte einmal in der Mitte der Woche gereinigt werden, wenn es dauerhaft über 30 Grad hat. - wenn fremde Handwerker vorbeikommen sollte vorher Bescheid gegeben werden. - da die Villa recht abgelegen am Rande einer Gruppierung von Häusern liegt kann man keinesfalls in den Ort laufen: es ist zu weit und zu gefährlich. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war sehr nett. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Haus weiterempfehlen entweder für zwei Familien mit ganz kleinen Kindern oder eine Familie mit erwachsenen Kindern. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis mitten im August ist wirklich fair.

Wonderful!
We felt very privileged to have stayed at this glorious villa. The 3 directional views from the upstairs dining area are stunning and we enjoyed breakfast and evening meals up there. The pool area is large and has a lovely shaded seating area covered by a bougainvillea which we were delighted to find. There was an area for playing ball games with beautiful hibiscus and other lovely flowers. We were excited to find a huge selection of English books and somes games. including chess. The weather was perfect. Windy and sunny so we were pleased we had brought a jumper for the evening as the wind made the evenings cool. Perfect. Thank you! Oh yes! We saw Dolphins (book for a morning trip if you want calm seas) and took a speed boat to see the Benagil caves from Portimao which was beautiful. The walk along the cliffs near Carvoeiro was stunning and the jump from the rocks into the sea very scary!

Lovely first holiday as Grandparents
Excellent villa, peaceful but close enough to town. Lovely pool & garden area. A great kitchen & bbq area. Floats & toy box for the grandkids. A small hot water issue but fixed promptly. My only recommendation would be a stair gate. Highly recommended.

Tolles Ferienhaus mit beheiztem Pool
Ein tolles Ferienhaus in dem es an nichts fehlt. Über die Ausstattung der Küche kann ich nicht viel sagen, da wir im Haus nur gefrühstückt haben, dafür ist alles vorhanden. Der Pool ist top und mit der Poolheizung zu jeder Zeit warm. Super Kommunikation und Information. Einfacher check in und check out.

Portugal 2024 winter escape
We both really enjoyed the beautiful Casa Miradouro at close distance from Lagos. The location is excellent. Supermarkets are at close distance. Numerous both 4 stars and cheap local restaurants are close by. Cleaning team were professionals and each question was answered promptly to full satisfaction. We look forward to come back same period (janu-febru) next year. Thank you all!!

Heerlijk huis met zwembad
Prima week gehad in december. Extra betaald voor het zwembad om te verwarmen, maar dat was het zeker waard. Elke dag gebruik van gemaakt! Alleen een paar kleine verbeterpuntjes….. gasfornuis/oven is aan vernieuwing toe, stofzuiger werkt niet meer naar behoren en de koelkast sluit niet goed waardoor het stroomverbruik waarschijnlijk hoger is, zonde!

A peaceful villa.
A peaceful and very comfortable villa in an ideal location. Some wonderful views and a lovely garden with almond trees and lemon and orange trees in the orchard. A well maintained and heated pool added to the enjoyment. The property manager is very helpful if needed. With no hesitation we have booked a return visit.

belle villa bien située
maison bien placée mais vieillissante ( sauf salles de bain refaites entièrement et très bien ) Quand il fait chaud comme souvent au Portugal il manque la climatisation.... Sinon nous avons passé un agréable moment surtout le soir autour d'un verre au bord de la piscine C'est très calme.

We loved staying at this house. It was located in a quiet neighborhood overlooking Lagos yet was very close to the everything that Lagos has to offer - e.g., the marina, grocery stores, old town, restaurants, museums, the beach., etc. We spent 5 weeks there and loved everything.

Recommend for Family Holiday
The outdoor property of the villa is magnificent! Lawn area for kids’ play, orange and lemon orchard, pool that can be heated for an additional charge and lovely gardens. Inside was spacious for 4 adults and 2 children. The Villa was cool in February but made comfortable with new heaters. We were charged in advance an extra fee for electricity for a party of six using the Villa in the winter months. The downstairs bathrooms have been updated and are spacious and comfortable. The upper level bathroom and quaint kitchen have not yet been updated. Great views overlooking Lagos out to the sea from the upstairs terrace. The Property Manager was always responsive and informative and rectified issues quickly.

Tolles und grosses Haus, beheizter Pool perfekt für die Jahreszeit, wunderschöner Garten, in 10 Minuten ist man in der Altstadt und am Meer, tolle und einfache Kommunikation mit der Agentur vor Ort, wir können das Haus und die Vermieterin sehr empfehlen 👍

Nice villa albeit tired but with wonderful pool and setting.
Really enjoyed our week at the villa in Falfeira. The heated (at extra cost) pool is fabulous and the grounds are immaculate. The views are superb and the neighbourhood very quiet. Exceptionally convenient for access to Lagos. However the villa itself is rather tired (although presents well externally), with an 'old house' aroma not helped by the smell of drains in one of the bathrooms (we did report this to the managing agent but as we did not want tradesmen visiting we chose to put up with it). The kitchens need updating and they stand in contrast to the modernised bathrooms. Beds (only singles) were very comfortable. The windows and doors are ancient and difficult to operate and secure. We ran out of gas but this was rapidly attended to by the managing agent - top marks! There are no flywires. In summary, if you are looking for luxury then look elsewhere. However the villa does provide reasonable, albeit basic accommodation, very much ameliorated by the excellent location and the grounds and the pool. Indeed the property is really all about the superb swimming pool where we spent most of our time, as the weather during our stay in early October was fabulous.

Villa with spacious garden&pool in beautiful setting at the countryside very close to Lagos and sea.
We had a great time together as a family in and around the villa. The garden has a lot of different places to chill and the pool is fantastic! Also great bbq! We loved the view during breakfast at the balcony that’s connected to the living upstairs. The bathrooms are very well renovated. Contact with owner in advance and during stay was very pleasant and helpful , we received a lot of information from her about the villa and tips for activities and restaurants in the Algarve. Also very accurate and kind local hosts. We really hope to return once again!
