"We had a wonderful weekend at Lagunita. Although a little outdated and noisy with construction across the street, the size of the cottage was perfect. Our daughter stayed upstairs and we had the king downstairs. The bed was a little too soft for us, but the room was quiet and comfortable. Great marketing, Disappointing stay.

"The property has great marketing, but falls short on delivery. The room we booked had pictures of the ocean as if it were ocean front. Instead we got a view of an alleyway and parking lot. The room was dated and musty, contrasting the beautiful rooms that were advertised. My booking also said it had complimentary valet parking, which the front desk did not want to honor and wanted to charge $45 a night for its compulsory service. In the end they agreed to waive it when I showed the evidence. Finally, the listing showed the property had a gym, but when I woke up and got ready for a gym session, the front desk informed me there was not such amenity."
