Fall visit to Lake City
This home is in a nice, quiet, well maintained neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay. We cooked breakfast and dinner all four days while we were there and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bedrooms were warm and comfortable. This is a really nice property and we would definitely consider staying there again, if we are in the area. The property owner was very cordial and pleasant.Five Stars.

A great spot to relax in Lake City
We were a trio of old woman friends reconnecting midway between our homes. Virginia’s home is beautifully situated just off the lake in a lovely neighborhood. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. The kitchen was gorgeous and fully equipped for cooking. Walk in showers a necessity for us, and the home had two. Highly recommended !

Welcome to Lake City
This property was exactly as listed, welcoming, and impeccably maintained. The neighborhood felt safe and secure, and its location made access to all we needed to do very easy! We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the home. The owner has provided anything you might need during your stay. We found the furniture to be clean and comfortable. Beds were great for our sleeping styles. Basic shower toiletries provided made travel much easier! Communication before, during and after the stay has been top notch. I would definitely choose to stay here again! It felt like we were visiting a friend's home, and that is a rare treat in the short term rental world. Thank you, Virginia, for providing a wonderful retreat for our weekend in Lake City.

Family Reunion
We went to Lake City for a family reunion. My family stayed at this house, and the rest of the family stayed at other properties. First of all, Virginia was fantastic to work with. Her communication was excellent and she was very accommodating. The property is beautiful, immaculate, well stocked, and in a wonderful location. I highly recommend staying here!

Anniversary celebration
Wow!! It was a wonderful weekend!! We celebrated our 40th anniversary!! Virginia’s home is perfect. So comfortable and cozy. Extremely clean!! We would be happy to move in- haha- her decor matches our style! Coffee on the deck morning and evening- can’t be beat. The view of the lake is beautiful- ride our bikes- walked the trials- picnic at the marina park- shopped in quaint stores- great food!! We felt at home and welcomed- Virginia is a great communicator! Wish we could have stayed for a week. Planning on making it an annual event! Virginia surprise d with a card and gift card for our anniversary! Above and beyond!! Hugs God bless!!

Perfect Location
We had a lovely stay in Virginia’s home! She was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. The location is perfect as you can view Lake Pepin and has easy access to the everything Lake City offers. I loved enjoying my morning coffee on the patio and walks on the river trail that’s near the home. The home had everything we needed and I loved how clean it was. We will definitely return as Virginia’s home was so comfortable and the perfect getaway for us. Thank you, Virginia!

Weekend retreat
The house was beautiful and felt very upscale beach/lake house. Even though it’s not directly on the water, you have a view of the lake and have easy access to the water. Downtown Lake City is walkable. Even though we didn’t need all of what was provided at the house, it is nice to know that it is fully stocked for future visits. I would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous Property & Amazing Host!
Beautiful home in a perfect location! This house has everything you will need and more. Kitchen is new and very well stocked. Bathrooms are great. Bed very comfortable. Spacious, clean, everything you need. Even more importantly than how GREAT the house was is the AMAZING host! Excellent communication, thoughtful, flexible. We happened to be staying during a family emergency and Virginia was amazing! Will definitely rent this property every time we are in town!! 5 PLUS STARS!!

Get away before holidays
My sister and I stayed for three nights in early December. We do this annually and have for about ten years. This was hands down the best place we’ve stayed. It was very clean, well stocked, had great internet and tv stations and was very quiet. Check in and out was simple and clear. It’s not right on the lake but that was fine with us…the view was lovely, and in warmer months the outside patios would be wonderful. There were only two of us but the house could accommodate more. The owner was very responsive and professional. We will definitely stay here again!

Comfort, style and relaxation
If relaxation with a view is in your vacation plans, please consider this beautiful property. A short distance from Lake Pepin, the image shown here is the view for you over coffee or happy hour on the front deck. We all agreed this property felt like you were a guest in a friend's home with the privacy of your own space. This beautiful property is very well appointed from kitchen to living areas to accessories. The owner is thinking about the guest experience. The location is just south of downtown and the marina and a short walk to a public boat ramp. We enjoyed our stay in Lake City with a pontoon rental and lunch and wine tasting one day in Pepin, WI. If you've never been to the Eagle Center in Wabasha, MN it is a short drive and a great place to visit. Speaking of Eagles, we saw many while on the lake and driving in the area and even one soaring overhead while relaxing on the deck.

Peaceful retreat
Our family thoroughly enjoyed the view and property. The house was clean, tastefully furnished, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. I Shouldn't Tell You This ~
Sometime you stumble across a little gem of life that you just want to hold for yourself. Then the better side of you says, “Share good things.” This is one of those good things. An updated, fantastically laid out home. Everything you need for a short or extended visit is here. The entire place is fitted with contemporary appliances and furniture. There are dishes, glassware, pots, pans, silverware, oven cookware and every utensil you might want to use. Coffee, spices, even flour and sugar in case you get the urge to bake. Of course there is WiFi and a large screen smart TV. Located in a quiet residential area, the deck faces Pepin Lake (aka the Mississippi River) only about 200 feet away. Morning coffee, lunch of after dinner drinks on the deck are highlighted by the occasional Bald Eagle and other large birds soaring overhead. Not much time for that TV. A riverfront park and boat launch along side a smooth walkway is about 100 yards north of the house. Follow the sidewalk one mile into town and there is a fully stocked grocery store, restaurants, and small shops waiting for you. Like I said, “I shouldn’t tell you this” because I want it available for my return visit.

A Great Choice
This home is impeccable. The decor, the furnishings, the colors are flawless, and the wood floors are a work of art. Together, they create a relaxing atmosphere. The kitchen is beautifully appointed with everything one would need. We loved the quiet neighborhood and, most especially, the deck and the view of the lake.
