Our Grown Up Get Away from the Kids
We are 3 lifelong friends who like to relax and spend time together away, doing as little as possible, or as much as possible depending on the time of year. This property gave us the perfect place to call home for 3 nights of doing almost nothing. Very clean, comfortable beds, cozy linens, a well appointed kitchen, and lot and lots of quiet. Our host was easy to communicate with when we needed her, otherwise she left us to enjoy the solitude. We plan to be back again. If we could give more stars, we would.

Clean & Quiet Place
The Bunkhouse is absolutely wonderful to stay in. This was our fourth visit here, we love it! It's so clean and they provide everything that you can imagine for your cooking needs. It's also very quiet there and quite peaceful. We look forward to our next stay there!

Best place ever!
If I can give 100 stars I will do it! We are in love with the bunkhouse farm, beautiful farm, the horses are close to the house is an amazing view all day, we’re animals lovers so we were in heaven, the little cat wait for us at the door every morning (because we feed her) The house is extremely clean, with enough towels and everything you can think of you will need it’s there! The beds Super comfortable with tv’s, internet, etc. but the best was the owners, they’re genuine sweet, attentive and good people, they give us fresh eggs from the farm and melons, we have an incredible time here… I will miss take my morning coffee looking at the horses and the peace there… I recommend this place but only if you are a good person :)

Absolutely beautiful country home.
Location is in the country. Very quiet, beds are comfortable. Bathroom and kitchen very spacious. Would have loved to stay here for a longer visit. Was down for a wedding so really didn’t have much time in the location to do the cooking like normal. But was set up for the ability to cook for a group or from scratch. Plenty for kids and adults to stay busy and entertained.

Home away from home
We stayed for two nights at the bunk house and absolutely LOVED every second. We loved waking up to the horses right outside our windows and chicken running around. It is my daughter dream to live on a farm and this was a wonderful place for her. Haven’t seen her smile that much in a long time. We loved the property. They had everything needed in the kitchen. The owners even offered us some fresh eggs. Beds were super comfy. Bathroom and clean and decorated nicely. The whole place was just amazing and everyone was so nice. My daughter even got to take a riding lesson from the owner and loved it. Ai highly recommend you book place because we will definitely be back!!

Great break from the city
Very quiet and peaceful. We spent some of the day at Blue Springs, which is only 20 minutes away. There was a fence very close to the property where horses came right up close. That's a cool experience for a city kid, my daughter loved it.

We loved this place . It is very clean , safe & quite . We especially liked Fanta the orange cat ! The host was very helpful , and responded to our requests immediately. Check in was great Hope to come back and stay longer next time .

The Bunkhouse
Very clean. We had trouble getting the door open and they were right there to help. They even brought us a dozen fresh eggs from the hen house. We highly recommend staying here. The people are so friendly. This was our second year there. Will definitely stay there again.

Wonderful Home Away From Home
My mother and I really enjoyed our stay at the Bunkhouse!! Right as we pulled in we were able to see the horses right at the fence near the bunkhouse. The house was just the perfect size and had everything we needed for our stay! The owner was communicative and even stopped by to tell us about the horses :) We enjoyed the games they had and the fire pit was amazing! So happy we were able to enjoy this little slice of country living!

our visit
Enjoyed our visit. Brought a bathtub plastic rug so we didn't fall like last year. Left it on front porch. I hope you put it in the tub for protection of your visitors. Would like small end table next to side of sofa and chairs for children and adults who have drinks. Wasn't happy with skillets cooking breakfast. Might need to look at them. Overall a great visit with our grand kiddos. Loved seeing the girls also.

Excellent Accommodations
Our stay at the Bunk House was a perfect location to go explore the “real Florida”, near several springs. House is comfortable and clean. Plenty of room to stay. Horses, chicken and house kitty were all added bonuses. Self serve firewood shops close by- don’t miss out on using the fire pit and stargazing.

Lovely Country Getaway
My husband and celebrated our anniversary by staying at this charming rental. The property was beautiful, clean, unique, comfortable and well stocked. The proximity to the horses and farm cars made it all the more enjoyable. The host gave us fresh eggs for breakfast and the hostess checked in on us twice. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful place. The Bunk house is absolutely adorable. Super clean and accommodating. The host(s) were attentive and responsive. We meet three friendly outside cats and a wonderful horse. The Bunk House is a hidden treasure. Can’t wait to go back.
