Great Vacation Spot
We loved the house we stayed in. It was clean, nicely furnished and comfortable. Best of all is was on one floor. Everything we needed was provided including a washer and dryer and game room downstairs. It was a short drive from Presque Isle which is why we rented it and also convenient to many other things. Communication with the host was good and easy. We are definitely thinking of renting there again next year.

Nice getaway away from the hustle and bustle
Had everything we need.We loved that it was right up against the state park.Walking distance to an ice cream shop and a brewery But far enough away from everything else. Had a nice fire pit outside. Downstairs in the basement you had a ping pong table and a card table. It's not walking distance to everything, but you're close enough within 20 minutes and the price was great. Host was quick to respond and very accommodating

Lake Erie Fishing Trip

Relaxation
Another enjoyable fishing weekend stay. The host informed me in ample time that the facility was all set for our arrival. Arrived there to a very clean home setting which made our stay very relaxing. So relaxing that we decided to not fish our last day there and sit around and talk over breakfast, coffee, and a “home” style atmosphere. Any “Old School” people should understand the comfort of home, and that’s just what it was. Our appreciation for having us again and will definitely book and recommend it in the future. Rich

Twice a year my kids and I travel to Erie to fish. It didn’t work out for us at the location we normally stay at, so I decided (wife’s idea) to give VRBO a shot. Turns out it was a great decision. Host was on top of it when communicating. Great location for our fishing adventures. The house/cottage was very clean and spacious for the 4 adults and one 7 year old grandchild. My only complaint is who put a full size window in the shower and not have blinds or something to block out anyone from looking in? Other than that we intend on staying there again. Hopefully the window thing is fixed. Rich

Perfect short trip
The cabin was very clean and inviting. The location was perfect for visits to Presque Isle, Erie, wineries, fishing, or just relaxing at the cabin. We visited the park at the end of the road for beautiful views of Lake Erie and walked to the ice cream shop next door. Great short trip, hoping to return for a longer stay and to try Twisted Elk Brewery across the street.

Erie area getaway
An amazing, relaxing getaway. Very clean and homey. The fire pit was prepped for us. So great to take hike, walk to the brewery, watch the sunset, and get ice cream without having to get in the car. A great deal as well!

Enjoyable stay at the Lake cottage
Loved the small cottage for my husband and I. We needed a lazy boy for my husband to be comfortable. It was very clean and reminded us of home. However, we wish they would have been up front that there was no wi-fi availability.

Home base for fishing trip
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Property was as described and located within a short distance of walnut and elk creeks. So much nicer than a hotel room when we got off the water. Had everything you would need for your stay. Will absolutely be back!

Beautiful home and scenic destination
We booked this trip as a friend getaway and it was absolutely perfect. The space was warm, welcoming, whimsical and sparkling clean and had everything we needed. The setting was beautiful - set against a forest with a trail and just a short walk down the road is a lovely community park with a majestic view of Lake Erie. The host was incredibly accommodating, communicative and great to work with. I can literally think of no better place to book if you want a perfect stay with access to nature.

Attention to detail.
The place was extremely clean and had everything needed to make meals, campfires, and plans for day trips. The notebook filled with nearby things to do was very useful. The kitchen was fully equipped to make meals inside or out on the grill. There were plenty of towels and extra bedding. The campfire area was fully equipped with everything you need to make s’mores over the fire. Overall a wonderful place to bring a young family!
