We enjoyed our weekend getaway.
The house was clean. There were 2 things we had a little issue with. The AC in 2 of the rooms did not work. We did not make it a huge deal because we had the fans to help. Also, there were a lot of wasps flying around on the back deck, and unfortunately, my husband got stung twice. Other than those 2 things we had a great time.

Constructive Criticism
This is not a negative review, if anything a positive critique. Property space was adequate, but house needs an upgrade, some LTC and mostly cleaning. Appliances were very old and limited, most of them were dirty. Furniture, linens, shower curtains, etc were outdated. Knowing how the short rental market is today and how competitive, the owner should definitely spend some money on

Great weekend for a friend group outing
The AC was difficult to use. In some places it was too cold and other places it didn't work at all. If you want to go to the lake, you definitely have to drive there, it's much longer than a 14 minute walk. There were a lot of things broken/not super clean when we got there. However, it was a perfect house for hanging out with friends for the weekend especially since it was so cheap to book. There were plenty of things for us to do and overall we had a great time!

Great house
Three families, 9 teenage girls total. The house had the perfect layout to accommodate all of us (only 8 dining chairs so we had to eat in shifts). We all loved the ping pong and pool tables and the hot tub. It’s only a few steps out the door but I recommend bringing flip flops or you’re stepping out barefoot into the snow. Overall a great house and we will book again if it’s available for our next trip!

House conditions
House had not been cleaned when we arrived, trash in house, beds not made, dirty dishes. The cleaners showed up an hour after we arrived and said they thought we weren’t checking in until the next day. They cleaned and that was okay. My other issue was there were a lot of lights that did not work, a little frustrating. Also, my son saw a mouse on the counter late on our last night there.

The house is large and accommodated our group We were there to visit with an aunt nearby. Everyone had fun with the pool table and ping pong table. The only thing that could be improved would be the internet service. It constantly goes in and out. I would definitely stay here again. The owner was very quick to answer a question i had. Would be a great place to go back to in summer.

Family Weekend Get together
Family of 10 get together for the weekend. House was listed as accurate. Plenty of rooms and beds. Layout of house was adequate to get around. Deck was awesome and so tranquil. Used hot tub and fire pit nightly. Only had Charcoal BBQ but it was fine. Played a lot of ping pong. Air conditioners in bedrooms and family room kept house cool. Only negative point (as last review listed) very confusing about beach access. Would help if listing was updated or better communications were sent to renter after booking. Owner was responsive…only gave 4 stars for that because some times it took a few days to get back. Other than that perfect weekend and would definitely rent this house again

Fun and spacious
What I like about this house is its many spacious rooms, open layout in the kitchen, dining, and family room. We liked staying in the basement as well with its ping pong table and billiards table. Bathroom amenities could be improved. We had to look for the towels because they’re not ready in the bathroom. The wifi is very slow, we cannot stream in the tv. Overall a pleasant stay.

Great weekend with friends and family
We had a great weekend. The house was very rooms and the bedrooms had plenty of space and plenty of beds for everyone. The previous review had us nervous but we saw no bug or insect issues at all. Everything in the kitchen worked great and we had some great meals. Plenty of fridge space (love the second full fridge downstairs.). If going, be sure to bring a firestick as there is no cable but we did some streaming (with some buffering). Hot tub was great and plenty of area inside and out.

Needs considerable attention.
My spouse and I have been going to the Poconos for vacation the past seven years. This years house made me question whether I want to go back ever again. The pictures lead you to believe the house is clean and relatively updated but upon arrival it is clear that is not the case. The home was not cleaned well. The carpets are horrifically stained and desperately need to be shampooed or replaced. The kitchen had cockroach traps everywhere and we were greeted by one coming out of one of the drawers in the center island of the kitchen. I was ready to leave in that moment but for some reason we stuck it out. The internet connectivity was atrocious. There was no cable tv, so we brought a streaming device to watch movies, as there was rain every day and no snow. We couldn’t get through a single movie or show without constant buffering. It was miserable. We paid quite a bit to stay at this property. It wasn’t worth it and I would not recommend it in the future. Some serious deep cleaning and replacements need to happen. We were tremendously disappointed. It is a shame because it’s located in a lovely neighborhood with some extremely beautiful homes.
