"If you are looking for a place to stay to ski at Gore Mountain, this is the place. The drive to the mountain was super easy and is only 18 minutes away. The house itself is a bit dated but charming. The house has everything you need in it. towels, toilet paper, blankets, etc. The doors are solid wood with latches instead of door knobs. "I rented this classic Adirondack home so my mother could spend time under one roof with her six grandchildren. The interior is classic Adirondack style and fit all of us comfortably. The location is great - a couple minute drive into the quaint town of Inlet and 15 minutes from Old Forge where we went to Water Safari. While visiting we had buck and baby black bear sightings. I’d highly recommend this home for a stay up in the Adirondacks. "

"This was our second time staying at the Lahinch lodge. It is such an amazing home and location. The small beach is perfect for cooling off and the kids had a blast paddling around. The island makes a perfect boundary for the kids to explore the water without the worry of them going out too far or fast boats coming too close. The pool table and ping pong in the basement are always a hit with kids and adults. We hope to stay here again in the future!"
