Excelente casa para quedarse
Me encanto esta casa muy tranquila para disfrutar en familia lejos de la bulla de la ciudad. La limpieza de la casa estaba impecable y sobre todo esa vivienda con esas galletas deliciosa y las salchichas.

Authentic cottage in the country
For anyone looking for an authentic 1700 cottage stay in Amish country - you have found your location! Our stay was perfection from the moment we booked. Our host was accommodating above compare. He gave us local recommendations, left us homemade cookies to enjoy and even let us check in a bit early before our tickets for Sight and Sound theatre which was close by. We took another couple with us and both couples had appropriate privacy for sleeping, even with the authentic plank floors upstairs. The property is not ‘fancy’ but, instead, cozy and authentic. For those coming from ‘city’ living, just keep in mind that you are truly in the country with regular country sounds and smells. We can’t wait to plan our return trip for next year.

Serene getaway
This was our third time staying here. The house has everything you need. It is located central to all that we do. The location in the quiet countryside, (without all the noisy neighbors that I have at home) is what keeps me coming back. A real chance to tune out and relax.

Cozy cottage near Strasburg
We spent a weekend with our two young kids. There was plenty of space for the four of us and everyone loved the place. The outdoor area was nice for hanging and playing after we got back each day. Although we didn't cook much, the kitchen was nice and well-equipped. We spent most days out and about in nearby Strasburg and Lancaster, and it was great having a place so nearby everything. We will definitely come back!

Lovely stay
We enjoyed our stay at this beautifully restored cabin so much! Very comfortable for our family of five. Thoughtful touches all throughout, comfortable beds and perfect location. We enjoyed making s’mores by the fire and watching the horse and buggies go by. We were so sad to leave. Thank you!!

The best little get away yet!
A wonderful experience! Felt like we were in paradise! The house was so quaint...a step back in time. So clean and had everything we needed and more. John and Deb were always a text away. And the cookies were a sweet treat.

Living in the Outskirts of Lancaster
This quaint cottage was perfect for our getaway. All the essentials were provided and many additional items made the stay wonderful. Country living very close to other popular Lancaster attractions. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Lovely Home
My best friend and I stayed here and we absolutely enjoyed our stay. Had everything you needed. The location we loved, so peaceful and pretty. John and Deb were wonderful hosts, they even left delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies that were amazing! Thank you both for a wonderful stay and the cookies and we will definitely come back

Lancaster trip
We had a fabulous time touring all around the country side . Amish buggy rides and working farm tours. Daniel at sight and sound show was amazing. Bird in hand walk around. We will return to this beautiful cottage .

A must stay
This house was perfect for our family’s first visit to the Amish country. Beyond the beautiful home & property, Amish family’s were ‘buggying’ by consistently. We even had a great conversation with the owner of the neighboring farm. We are already talking about going back for another stay

So peaceful!
I loved the location, sitting on the back porch and watching the tobacco wagons go by, the corn field, the birds, and watching the sunset every night. I would definitely stay here again. The amount of love poured into this home to rebuild and refinish was immense and it shows. Plus, the cookies were a delicious touch. Thank you!

This was the perfect location and home to immerse yourself in Lancaster County and all that it has to offer. Every evening, we sat at the Firepit and watched Horse & Buggies pass by. On Sunday, a church meeting place must have been close because 20-30 passed by our home before 900 am. Very few cars through here. The house itself was perfect. Modern ammenties but an old feel. Would stay here again. Would stay here longer next time.

Perfect Amish Country Experience
This house was even better than the pictures - so quaint and cozy. The owners have done an exceptional job restoring this home while keeping much of its original charm. My three children loved the experience of staying in an older home in the middle of Amish country as well as playing in the yard, watching buggies pass by, and taking walks around the large, country block. If we visit this area again, I will insist on staying here.

Cabin weekend
This cabin is delightful. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning kept up with 90+ degree days and 80 degree nights! I couldn't find any sugar for tea but the sausages left by the hosts were delicious. My only regret was being unable to eat the homemade chocolate chip cookies left by the host (allergy. ) i would definitely stay there again!
