"Basic but great value for money,if you want a clean, comfortable night sleep with a fantastic breakfast with amazing choices then this is for you, lovely owner Doreen who does the best full English your likely to ever have,the room was basic,but some nice touches with towels,coffee,tea, biscuits,soaps ect....bed was super comfortable,I had the best two nights sleep better than my own bed at home...bare in mind it's a hotel/bar....I took some time to get to know the regular guys that play pool...

"The property was well kept. Room was very clean, comfy, cozy and quiet - with all amenities needed. The included breakfast was very satisfying and cooked to perfection. Even though hot chocolate was not on the menu, was provided at request and most delicious. Being greeted at the train station was an incredible help after a long journey. The attention to deal was and friendly atmosphere made this one of the most enjoyable and memorable stays. Would highly recommend a stay at The Mustard Tree....

"The top floor room I had was just perfect for my 2 night stay. It was spotlessly clean, comfy bed, lovely linens and soft towels. A great place to come home to after a day of sightseeing. The house is very quiet (apart from the Seagulls lol!) and you’ll receive a very warm welcome. It’s close to the seafront and a 15 minute walk from the railway and bus station. Tea and Coffee provided and I was thrilled to find a Gideon in the nightstand. "

"It was a delightful two night stay with a full Cornish breakfast. It seemed to have been renovated recently. Very clean and up to date. Location was excellent - a 3 minute walk from the train station and bus depot. Belinda and Bob were wonderful hosts. Would definitely reserve again on any future trip to Penzance. Easy to get to St Ives and Mousehole/Newlyn."

"When we turned up to the property on 22nd May 2025 around 5pm, a landlady, the owner, told us that she had nothing to do with Vbro or Expedia and we had been not booked, and she told us to leave, with no further explanation. I explained that it took us 6 hours to travel from London to there, we supposed to be on a holiday and we booked the few days before, having confirmation and money had been transferred.
