"Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult."

"A great place to stay - gorgeous views, fishing at the end of the garden, peace and quiet (except for the wonderful birdsong),a great place to rest and read or get out and about - so close to the Murray Mouth.. The house was very clean, comfortable and thoughtfully set up. It was also lovely to be able to bring our little dog with us. Monique was a great host, answered emails quickly and thoroughly. "

"Very nice place to stay. The boat was very well equipped with everything we needed. All of us caught lots of carp that we had to kill first of course, then fed to a pelican which was fun. Fed the pair of black swans that came round each evening with cornflakes as internet said that was OK. to feed them that. Very quiet moored spot on the river. Highly recommend this boat for a holiday that is so relaxing. Host is lovely and supplies all the information you need for this wonderful getaway."

"Our family had a wonderful stay at Goolwa Gettaway. The house is spacious, comfortable and in a great location with a view over the water. The property is very well equipped with lots of cooking appliances, coffee machine, BBQ, TVs, amazing laundry, etc. It really does have everything for a great stay. Perfect for watching the horses and kangaroos and close to the pubs if you're after a meal at night. Our host was so nice and let us come and meet her horses which was great.
