Fantástico alojamiento
Hemos viajado dos parejas con dos niños y hemos estado fenomenal. La casa está ubicada en una zona fantástica, en Playa Blanca, muy cerca de playa Papagayo. De hecho, todas las tardes íbamos a esa playa. Es una urbanización muy chula con supermercado al lado, cerca del puerto y del paseo marítimo. Muchos restaurantes y muy bien ambiente. La casa es muy cómoda con una piscina estupenda para refrescarse y una terraza en el jardín perfecta para hacer cenas o comidas. La dueña ha estado disponible en todo momento y es muy amable. Recomiendo este alojamiento, está fenomenal!!.

Home from home
Communication was excellent. Property as expected, all very clean and well furnished. Super comfy beds, kitchens and bathrooms were immaculate. Plenty of channels to watch on the nights we stayed in. Location is good with a comfortable 10-15 minute walk to the Marina. Excellent supermarket at the end of the road plus a bar/cafe and a new Indian restaurant. We used it for a takeaway and it was lovely. Pool was kept really clean. Would recommend!

Lovely villa, great location!
We had an amazing time at Vill Ruby Lucas. The villa had everything we needed, the pool was fab and the location was great. 2 mins to a supermarket and a 10 minute walk to the marina and loads of restaurants. 10 minutes further is a great beach so pretty much all you need in walking distance. Had a lovely welcome pack which was great to receive as we arrived late in the evening. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely villa in the best location
A modern, well laid out villa with everything you could need and a lovely outdoor area with plenty of seating and an inviting pool. Turn one way out of the villa and after a 20 minute walk you are at Rubicon Marina where you will find a good selection of restaurants, turn the other way and after about a 25 minute walk/hike you will be at Papagayo beach. Plus, at the end of the road you have 2 supermarkets and a couple of bars.

Villa Ruby Lucas
This villa was everything we wanted and more. It was spacious,clean and in a brilliant location. Rubicon Marina, with plenty of restaurants to chose from, is only a 20 minute walk away.Ouside is a nice seating area with a decent size pool,that in the Winter period, is heated. Comunication with Julia (who responded quickly with any queries we might have had) was spot on. I highly recommend this villa,so much so that we have already booked it for 2025.

Fantastic Villa and location
Loved every minute of the stay and would not hesitate to return. The location is ideal for both a walk to the marina and less than 5 mins walk to the both supermarkets. Contact with Julia was first class and very helpful and informative.

Very nice location

We loved our stay at Villa Ruby Lucas, the villa was clean and well maintained. Just as described with a supermarket a two minute walk away and an English supermarket 3 mins away. The pool was lovely and warm, but still refreshing on those hot days. The positioning of the villa means it gets sun all day long with shady area to shelter if needed (and parasol). The nearby Marina is lovely with shops and plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy a bite to eat. We also explored in the other direction and found a small shopping centre with some gift shops and cafes. Would r

Definitely Recommend
We had a lovely stay in Playa Blanca and the Villa. The location was perfect, everything is walking distance heat dependent but quite hilly. The villa was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The two twin bedrooms could maybe do with air conditioning for the very hot summer days as was uncomfortable for the children at night when the temperatures reached over 35. The owners were extremely helpful and responsive and kind by leaving some essentials for when we arrived. We would definitely recommend this villa for a family holiday.

Perfect Villa for our family
The villa was a perfect size for our family. It had everything you could want. Location is amazing, 2 minutes from excellent supermarket and small cafe/bar. 10-15 min stroll along the front to the marina, which has amazing restaurants. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Second time we have stayed here and it won’t be the last! Lovely villa in peaceful location with bar and supermarket 5 mins away. The bus stops at the end of the road for easy access into Playa Blanca town and Rubicon Marina is a short walk away! Great place for a relaxing week away!

Quiet and Peaceful
The villa was an excellent place to unwind and relax, a brilliant mix of sunbathing spots along with shady places to cool off for a minute. The pool though small is the perfect size and being smaller allows it to stay warm enough to allow for dips in and out to cool off without being shocking. The location is quiet and relaxing so if your looking for a way to unwind from stress of normal life this is the place to be. The property owners could not have been more helpful - an issue with AC was dealt with a soon as possible, going so far as to hire a temp mobile AC unit untill it could be fixed properly. Would thoroughly recommend this villa.

What a wonderful place!
From initial communication with the manager/owner and from check in the check out we couldn’t have asked for more. The Villa location is fantastic, supermarket at the end of the road, the most beautiful 10 minute walk to the Marina. The Villa is the perfect size, very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Lovely outside space, a real sun trap protecting us from any wind. Perfect for families and sunbathers alike. The pool is a good size and was heated, we used it several times everyday. There’s really nothing we didn’t like. Already discussing booking to come back.

A perfect stay
Having spent 6 weeks at Villa Ruby Lucas it should have highlighted any shortcomings. There were none. The accommodation was perfect for our needs,. It was comfortable, quiet and offered the privacy you would expect from a holiday villa. It’s location is excellent and a comfortable stroll along the coastal walkway to Rubicon marina with its restaurants, bars and shops. A well stocked supermarket at the end of street proved extremely convenient. Julia was easily contactable and promptly addressed the very few queries that we had. We highly recommend this villa and certainly hope to return in the near future.

Great location for Marina Rubicon
Communication with owners was great, kids certainly appreciated access to UK tv and Netflix. Property is a little larger than pictures suggest but also a little more tired. Sun beds have definitely seen better days and one was broken. Proximity to supermarket and Marina is perfect. Little disappointed by nearest beach, Playa Dorada is better, but good 30 min walk with kids and my mother, and very busy. Sadly could not contact taxis at all and only managed to book transfer back to the airport via website. Will return to area but will definitely hire a car in advance as none available in resort.

A very pleasant stay
A perfect week in the sun for myself and my wife. The Villa is close to the airport and in walking distance of bars and restaurants. There is a cafe and supermarket at the end of the road and the villa is in a perfection position. It is quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The Villa itself is clean, and has recently had a new main bathroom fitted. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is equipped with everything required. The TV has endless channels and the wifi is strong and reliable. The pool is perfect to dip in when you need to cool off and the back garden has the sun all day. A very enjoyable stay - Thank you to Paul and Julia.

Fantastic Holiday!
Julia, the property owner, was amazing - So helpful and thoughtful. The villa was perfect for our family and the photos didn't do it justice. The pool was cleaned twice weekly and the villa cleaned once weekly - all staff friendly and helpful. The villa is at the end of a quiet residential street, so it afforded us the peace and quiet we were craving. We had everything we needed and the local supermarket was less than 5mins walk away. Proximity to the Marina was also a bonus as we had a brief 1/2 mile / 10min walk to all the shops and restaurants. Great food and somewhere different to eat every night. The weather was also perfect - We went at half-term (and following week) in May/June and it was in the late 20s/early 30 degrees, which was hot enough. There was a warm breeze all the time and the villa had plenty of fans and air con units. The local beaches were all within 15mins walk and we've never seen seas so clear. The snorkelling is highly recommended and the fish are friendly! As soon as we returned home we started looking into availability again. Many thanks to Julia for her help and patience. We hadn't used Vrbo before, but we certainly would again. An easy and pain-free booking experience. Best wishes, Richard and Vicky Boxer
