"It was our first time staying at Descanso (my partner previously stayed at the sister property, Santiago), so outside of the pictures, we didn't know what to expect.
The service is top notch. We were receiving updates via text messages, and they were timely and on point. Special shout-out to Dustin for making our arrival a breeze with updates and his amazing introduction to the property.

"Orbit In is for anyone seeking a throwback to the mid century modern era. It is an older property with fairly basic amenities. Stayed in the Albert Frey room which had a fireplace, outdoor shower, and record player. Bed was comfortable. There is a cocktail hour by the pool. Staff was very nice. No breakfast included. There is a small hot tub and fire pit for winter nights. Great location and very walkable to most of downtown Palm Springs. "

"Hotel is located in a convenient location, however the pool area needs a lot of maintenance, the furniture was broken and it looked like the cushions and the cabana furnishings were not regularly cleaned.
Our room was at the top of the stairs and we expected some noise from other guests however the problem ended up being the cleaning staff! Doors banging and loud taking while we were still asleep.. not ideal."
