Green Cabin on the Bourbon Trail

Lovely place! It IS green, and that’s my favorite color! The place has a very well stocked kitchen. And is very comfortable. It’s kinda out of the way, but weloved it! A great front porch, the neighborhood horse to watch grazing as entertainment, we enjoyed the calm and quiet for a relaxing getaway!

The cabin is beautiful. It was very cozy. We loved the convenience of being able to return and relax after a day of touring. We sat on the porch and watched wildlife in the evening. The cabin had everything you need to feel at home!

This was our second trip to Bourbon country. The cabin was just as described. It was one of the BEST STOCKED properties we have ever visited. Check in was a breeze and the host was very prompt with communication. We loved having 1 bedroom/bath downstairs and another bedroom/bath upstairs. The surrounding properties were a little rundown, but we never saw anyone (may have been vacant) It was very quiet/enjoyed coffee on the front porch!

Amazing!!

This was truly a beautiful place! It was in a great location, close to town if we needed to go to the store for something or to eat. Super close to Wild Turkey Distillery too which is absolutely stunning! The hosts were great quick to communicate when I had any questions before our arrival date. Definitely recommend this place if your looking for off the main strip but still close to the distillery’s if you are looking for a place to stay on the bourbon trail or even if you are looking for a get away. It is beautiful and I love how it was a country feel. I have added a photo from the top of the hill behind the house. I think the wrap around porch was my favorite thing!

Great location and great stay

This property was clean, comfortable, quiet, and well maintained. We stayed for two nights while visiting a few bourbon distilleries. The cabin was a perfect location and we enjoyed coffee each morning on the porch. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again.

Liked the big wrap around porch. Cozy living room with huge sectional. Large master bedroom and bath. Good location. Handy to many activities like the bourbon trail and quaint small towns and also the large cities, Frankfort, Lexington and Louisville. Great hosts.

Perfect location for bourbon tours!

Very nice farm house in the heart of bourbon country. Has a great view of adjoining fields. Even saw a few horses and deer. Has everything you need and located close enough to town for groceries and several nice local places to dine.

Great Place for the Bourbon Trail!!

This property is amazing!! It is clean and great for visiting the bourbon trail. The house is located within 30 min of several distilleries and is very warm and inviting. The hosts responded quickly to any questions I had. We definitely recommend staying at this property!!

Quick getaway to Bourbon trail

The property was very clean. Thought it was nice that they left some snacks in a couple sample bottles of the local brown water.Only critique is the bed could have been a little more comfortable and a whole lot quieter and I would suggest leaving some dish cloths and some dawn detergent to help with dish cleanup

Very Nice Vacation Stay

My husband and I and two friends stayed here four nights while enjoying the Bourbon Trail. The location of the home was perfect for us to visit numerous distilleries close by (Woodford Reserve, Wild Turkey, Four Roses, Buffalo Trace and a short drive to Maker’s Mark). Chris was a very gracious host, quickly responding to a small issue we had. The beds were very comfortable. The only downside was the fireplace was not working and that would have been wonderful to enjoy on the snowy day. I would definitely stay here again!

Bourbon Trail Stop

Overall, this property met its description. Centrally located to many stops on the trail. The only complaints we had were the sounds of what we believe were birds that may have nested inside the walls (it looked like there is some patching on the outside of the property) and the enormous amount of flies (mostly dead) inside. We tried to figure out where they were coming from but had no luck. There were enough that we had to sweep the dead ones up on a daily basis! If you can look past these issues, it's a great location for the trail. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were fully supplied. Would for sure stay here again if the fly issue was addressed.
