"The house is very cute little place for a stay on the lake. The bedroom with 2 beds had several dead bugs along the wall, maybe just need cleaned a little better. Overall house was very cute. There are, I believe, 62 steps down to the dock, where the kids lived jumping off and enjoying the water. Thank you for having us. Loved the painting on the dining room wall. Best view around. "

"The sugar shack was a great place to stay with my husband and daughter. Being right on the lake was amazing. It was just enough room for the three of us. The grill was in great condition, we grilled out each night of our stay. I think it’s important for anyone staying here knows that getting to the house from the top of the driveway and getting down to the lake could be challenging if you have any mobility issues. "Absolutely adored this little place. It is the best example of eclectic decorating I have ever seen. A pig hanging amongst fish that’s mixed with deer antlers that somehow look perfectly in place next to the Sasquatch and I could go on and on! A crock pot of fabulous eclectic wonder. "The cottage is very comfortable. You walk through it and exit the back door, and suddenly, you've found paradise. There is a huge deck overlooking Weiss Lake, replete with a large outdoor table and chairs. A walk down a path towards the waterfront opens to a dock that spans about 80% of the property, where I caught 25 small crappie (odd name for a fish you can eat) during our stay. My wife took advantage of the paddleboard and enjoyed swimming."

"Nice and quiet and way off the road, you’re on a farm with animals, yet it wasn’t noisy at all, they would greet me every morning at the fence to say hi, lol.The rooftop A/C drowns out any noises around the area, we slept great throughout the nights there. Owners were super responsive and helpful, we were there to look into moving into the area and take in nature, everything was great."

"We had a great trip. The house was easy to find, while the road out front was busy at times it was still quiet. It was hot and humid, but the breeze on the front porch while swinging and rocking was nice, and locals waving as they drove by. Matt was very quick to respond to all messages. And even though it was hot outside we still enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings after hiking! We have a few recommendations for him, but those did not affect our stay.
