Decent base for a stay with friends
Overall the place was decent. It had what we needed with a fairly "no frills" approach, but for the price we paid, central location, and as it we were only 3x guys with no need for anything fancy, it did the job well.
- Positive; We had a parking space for our car (paid extra) AND a dedicated garage to store our bikes in which was extremely handy. Front desk lady was helpful.
Points of note:
- Leavetown operate the booking but don't run the apartment so there was a distinct disconnect between me asking questions in advance of our trip, and getting good answers. Best to just reach out to the resort directly. Info is on Google.
- There was some minor damage to a few items in the apartment and seemingly both the front and the back doors looked to have been attempted to be broken into at some point, seemingly by a 4-pronged hay fork looked at the marks! Interesting. Though I didn't feel unsafe at any point.
- The wifi is pretty expensive, and cell service was poor in the apartment.
- Would be good if they left some basic cleaning items. Having to fully clean our apartment upon leaving as part of the terms, but having been no cleaning products provided is pretty unfair.
