"Our family of 16, ages 76-4, enjoyed a wonderful week at Sunnybank house. We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo."

"Fab house un fab location with spectacular views of the mountains and the sea. Pictures doesn,t do It justice. Everything was very clean, fully equipped, Inc. shampoo and conditioner, detergent for washing machine and dishwasher, etc. John has been a great host, he invited us to Saint John,s party, with his family and friends and It was very nice. "The photos do not do the cottage and surroundings justice as whilst they are spectacular the “real” thing is breathtaking. Everything you need is there. State of the art appliances, lots of cutlery and cookware and more than enough hot water. The log fire 🔥 is hypnotic and adds an extra ambience. The house was immaculately clean and so easy to find and checkin was very easy. We will definitely be back ❤️🇮🇪❤️"

"An excellent stay in a good property, in an ideal location for Dogs Bay. We were disappointed that the garden shrubs screened the view of the bay. We were unable to make the heating system work ideally for us. We would have appreciated a change of bed linen during our 3 week stay. In all other respects a lovely property which we enjoyed greatly."

"Ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus für bis zu 8 Personen. Wir konnten sogar unsere Mahlzeiten außerhalb des Hauses einnehmen. Auch bei schlechterem Wetter konnten wir das unvergleichliche Panorama der Berge und des See's genießen, weil wir uns den Tisch vor das Fenster geschoben haben. Das wäre unser Traum haus, wenn wir in Irland wohnen würden. "

"Beautiful location on the water. Fireplace for turf fires. Basic accommodations but basic is all you need in such a fantastic locality. The folks in Carna were accommodating. Be careful while driving here - but you probably already know that."

"This was just a marvelous place to stay. The house was a great location and equipped with you need. All the information we received was spot on accurate. We had great Irish weather - sunny some days, windy and rainy others. The School House was like a safe harbor. Plenty to do in the area - hiking, shopping, great food at local restaurants, convenient grocery shopping. Thanks to the owners. A great memory. "

"The cottage is located in an area where you can discover many beautiful areas by car. The cottage has all the bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and living room on the ground floor. The upper floor is locked. It is a bit damp so bring your thick socks. Electricity was a bit of a hassle for us but there was 2 euro coins provided for us to use in the meter. "This place is just perfect. The surroundings and the views are splendid, at the end of a beautiful road, making you feel that you are alone (even if Letterfrack is quite close). The house by itself is very comfortable and practical. And Tim is the best host, very available and helpful. We couldn’t hope for a better basecamp for our week in Connemara."

"What a great stay! My daughters said it was the best place we stayed on our whole trip, and wish we stayed longer. We loved the remote location and beautiful setting. It is just a short walk past fields of grazing sheep and cows to Carrowinsky Strand, which is a stunning beach. The owner provided a packet with helpful information in nearby Louisburgh.
