"We had a fantastic time at the lake! Check in was a breeze. The house was super clean, nicely laid out and perfect for all of us. We had plenty of room to spread out and since mother nature decided to rain on us all four days we were there, it was nice to have space. The hot tub was the star of the show and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The towels and linens were very nice as well. "Parking was convenient even for our F-350. Plenty of room for folks to spread out in the living area and kitchen. Upstairs suite would be a PLUS PLUS for family gatherings as you have privacy in your own sitting area, etc up there. Would not recommend for someone with climbing issues/knees/hips etc as steps go up to the main floor and then lots of steps to top suite. But we are in our mid 70s and did NOT have any issues of same. Recommend this VRBO, we do. "

"Enjoyed our stay at Castaway Cottage. The back deck was our favorite and we stayed out there alot with all the rain we had. Inside is as described. Stairs to water and dock as described. We had about 9 feet of water off the front of the dock. Water silty and some log debris but we were able to do our water-sports right in front of the house. Only issue was listing states sleeps 8, 7 comfortably but owner contacted us when we had 5 cars in driveway questioning if we had more than 6 guests (we...

"We had a wonderful time staying at the beautiful Hydrangea House on Lake Norman. An absolutely gorgeous house and wonderful location in a quiet cove. It was a wonderful house for family celebrations With two separate living areas.We rented a pontoon boat and that gave us more memories. The only downside was the weather and unfortunately, we can’t control that. It rained every day ! But at least Lake Norman is no longer in a drought! ha ha ! I would definitely return here again."

"What a wonderful cozy place to stay! The lot has an amazing view of the water and the new dock was a wonderful place to stay, play, and dock the boat. We stayed for a week and made so many beautiful memories. Everything is even better in person! Shops, and restaurants are within 10-minute range. We walked in the morning and enjoyed the area. Kids loved to see deers walking in the forest. We would definitely stay again! Absolutely a gem! "

"Great house, yard, dock, view, location, and very responsive hosts. When we weren't on the boat, we spent most of our waking hours on the covered deck, with ceiling fans to keep us comfortable. The yard was great for cornhole, badminton and CanJam. Would rent this house again!"
